THE 5PM FIRESIDE BIBLE STUDY resumes next Sunday evening, September 13.
BALLPLAYERS! If you are here from out of town and are looking for something to do
tonight, the movie “War Room” is playing at Springdale Cinema de Lux 18 at 1:30PM,
4:30PM, 7:15PM & 9:55PM. Pastor Daryl says this is a “2 thumbs up”! You will feel like
you’ve been to a worship service after seeing it. We highly recommend it for you and
your teammates.
ANY LOOSE CASH OFFERINGS TODAY will be used to help offset the cost of the
luncheon for our out-of-town softball guests. Your contributions are appreciated.
PARKING LOT PROJECT: Due to the large amount of rain this summer, the projected
completion date for the parking lot project will be later than we hoped. Please bear with
us during the construction. Portions of the parking lot will be unavailable as they are
being resurfaced. We will keep you apprised of any parking restrictions or entrance
closures through all-church emails and the SNC News & Information line (784-2800).
SNC HOME FURNISHINGS MINISTRY NEEDS A REFRIGERATOR: If you have a
refrigerator in good working order that you are able to donate, please call Pat Westerman
at (513) 824-1399. Thank you for helping provide for others’ needs.
Seeds of Faith happens on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 for kids
two years of age through kindergarten. Join us for some FUN!! The
nursery is open for babies, too!
Little Sprouts Learning Center: We have 50 students enrolled so far in
our weekday preschool this fall. Tell your friends about our great
preschool program! Tuition is only $100/month!
Help is needed at the ECD Security Counter. Can you serve one Sunday
each month during first service? Talk to Brenda Parker about this
opportunity for ministry.

Missions for Young Children: Help your child focus on others by
collecting loose change & bringing it to church to help our young friend,
Luis, learn about Jesus in Ecuador. Talk to your child about sharing Jesus
through finances, prayer & love around the world.
LADIES MONDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY begins on September 14 at 7PM in room
307 with Beth Moore’s study, The Patriarchs. Call Dovie Hudson at 896-4043 for more

LADIES THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY begins on September 10 at 10AM and
meets every two weeks. The first study is Beth Moore’s The Patriarchs, and book cost is

CAN YOU HELP? A paid childcare position is available for the Thursday morning Ladies
Bible Study beginning September 10. If you are available for a couple of hours every
other Thursday morning so that young moms can participate, please contact the church

LAF SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS invites you to join them in a study of the books of the
Minor Prophets - Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah and Micah. The study begins on

LADIES!! BETH MOORE Living Proof Simulcast is coming to Xenia Church of the
Nazarene on Saturday, September 12, beginning at 10:30AM. This global, one-day
event will include inspiring worship and a life-changing Bible Study. Cost is $20/person if

37th Annual Missions Auction
October 3, 2015
Only 27 more days until the auction! We need your help! Donations are needed for the auction to be
successful! We will begin accepting items this Wednesday, September 9. A table will be set up in the
Atrium or you may contact the church office (771-3571) if you are donating a large item. Thank you for your
support of missions!
As always, there will be a potluck meal starting at 5:00PM. New this year, we are asking folks to bring a
culturally unique side dish to accompany the meat which will be provided. Families should bring two side
dishes and singles one. Drinks will be provided and desserts can be purchased at the bake sale. The auction
will start at 6:00PM. It is a time of fun and fellowship for all as we raise money for missions! Childcare will
be provided for children kindergarten age and younger. Thank you for your support!

Softball Sunday: There will be one hour of programming today for all
elementary students. 1st - 6th grade students will be together for worship
and teaching in the elementary worship room.
Midweek at SNC: We’d love to see our elementary students downstairs on
Wednesday nights to refocus together on faith, life, and fun! Come this
Wednesday at 6:30PM! There are also opportunities for parents to check out.
Team Lift Student Leaders: Sign-ups are available now for 5th & 6th graders.
Grab a packet at the welcome table and turn it in by Sunday, September 20 to
your Sunday School teacher.
New Series starting next Sunday is called “Opportunity Knocks.” Hope to see

THIS MORNING: Theer is no youth gathering today due to Softball Sunday. Next
week during the 11AM hour we will meet in our elemental groups and begin a new
series, “Building Bridges.” Elemental worship/groups are designed as our weekly
connect piece for students here at SNC.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Each Wednesday night we gather into Pursuit groups. We
meet from 6:45-7:45PM. Show up early for games and homemade donuts in the
youth room. If you are not yet in a Pursuit group and would like to join, please see
Pastor Josh.
