OTHER RIVERFRONT TRAILS
l
Riverside Park is home to more than 4.5 miles of unpaved,
wooded trails starting at the Riverfront Boathouse and extending
north almost to the Town of Windsor. There are two distinct
trails for park visitors to enjoy, either on foot or mountain bike.
The larger, main trail starts in the flood plain forest and follows
the city’s earthen flood dike to Tower Brook gully. A secondary
trail meanders along the river’s bank from the gully to the
Riverfront Boathouse. Both trails are available to the general
public seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
*Riverboat cruises run only at scheduled times. Visit hartfordbelle.com and ladykatharinecruises.com for more information.
All parks offer FREE admission.
