Guest Performers
Mauricio Cespedes Rivero
Born in Cochabamba-Bolivia, Mauricio started violin, and later viola
with his father, Fredy Cespedes, concertmaster, and mother, Maria
Eugenia Rivero, principal cellist both in the Bolivian Symphony
Orchestra. Dr. Cespedes serves as principal violist of the Orlando
Philharmonic Orchestra. He has acted as principal violist of the
Bolivian National Symphony Orchestra, the New World School of
the Arts, Florida State University Orchestra, Lansing and Miami
Symphony Orchestras, and assistant violist of the Sinfonicum
Europae Orchestra in the Milennium Concert at Avery Fisher Hall in
Lincoln Center. In 2011 he won the You Tube Symphony Orchestra
competition, and performed at the Sydney Opera House with
maestro Michael Tilson Thomas.
Robb Ross (Tenor)
Ross has been performing all
over the Central Florida area
for the past 12 years as a soloist
as well as performing in local
theatres. Robb received his BME
from Stetson University and
his MEd from the University of
Central Florida. He is currently
the Director of Choral Activities at
Apopka Memorial Middle School,
where he has been for the past
8 years. Robb also conducts
the Chancel Choir and the Holy
Tollers at Park Lake Presbyterian
Church.
Jill Bolander Cohen
Cohen is Founder of The Lifeboat Project, a nonprofit which increases awareness of
human trafficking. She serves as Chair of Peace and Justice with the Central Florida
Presbytery and sits on the CFP Immigration Task Force. Jill has been chosen as a
delegate for the 2013 Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations.
She is a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Maitland where she lends her
vocal talents to the Praise Team. Jill is a member of the Daughters of the American
Revolution. She and her husband, Gary, reside in Apopka, Florida.
donna dowless
Ms. Dowless is an award-winning contemporary artist
creating compositions of balance and harmony that
express affirmations from the heart. Her art is featured
in collections world wide. She currently serves as the
Chairman of the Downtown Orlando Arts District and
CityArts Factory. Because of Donna’s inspirational efforts
to spread love through arts and culture, Orlando Mayor
Buddy Dyer appointed Donna as Orlando’s official
Ambassador of Love.
