Town Council
The closing of Main Street for the storm system repair work has been set back until at least July
27th due to the heavy rains we have been experiencing. Once the road closes for the repair work it

Solarize Dyer
Due to the extension of the NIPSCO Feed-In Tariff program that pays for electricity from solar
systems between 5 and 10 kiloWatts in size, Solarize Dyer has extended their deadline for
contract commitments to July 31st. If you haven’t yet signed up for your free no-obligation
solar assessment, now is the time! You still have a whole month to decide. So far we have
80 + signups for solar assessments region wide, with 8 in Dyer. Proposals throughout the
region are up to 600 kW, with our first signed contract coming from a LaPorte business. We
need at least one more contract in to start dropping the costs for all regional participants. If
you missed the Solarize Dyer community workshop, go to solarizenwi.com for more information.
