Important Messages
Sunglasses and Goggle Drive
Do you have some sunglasses and goggles that are taking up space
in your locker or closet? We’ll take them off your hands and
distribute them to our regional school groups.
There is a red basket on the Mountain Sports School Sales Desk in
JH Rental to collect sunglass and goggle donations and one at
Louise’s desk in the Mountain Operations Building.
Thanks for saving the eyes of the future!

“Always An Ambassador”
Be the reason someone smiles today! Just take a look around; we are a part of something amazing. Jackson Hole
will always be a mind-blowing resort and with the help of all of you we have become an incredible destination.
Here are some examples of guests who were wowed by JHMR’s Ambassadors:
“I really appreciate the happy and helpful staff; Ben Hoyle in the ticket office is great”
“Jackson Hole was a bucket list trip that my best friend and I dreamed up well a year ago. If you had told me just
over a year ago we would be visiting and riding the home mountain of legends like Travis Rice and Bryan Iguchi
I would have said you’re crazy. The staff was extremely friendly and accurate when it came to meeting and
anticipating our needs. Thank you so much for the amazing experience we had walking away... Really we didn’t
want to leave! We wanted to stay here for the rest of the season. It’s service like this that matters and service like
this that will keep us coming back year after year!!!”
“An experience has to be excellent (or completely dismal) for me to feel compelled to write to a company, and
my experience at JHMR was phenomenal… The odds were against me --- as a Florida native, it was my
experience my first experience in 22 below temps and my first attempt learning to snowboard. I had a group
was my first day and met Nick Fredericks, one of your instructors who immediately earned my trust due to his
skill level and personality. Nick gave me enough confidence to return on day two for second group lesson, then
again on day three for a private lesson. Ultimately I learn the sport in three days and wanted to take a minute
to acknowledge Nick for his expert guidance. Although I was fortunate to have his full attention on day three,
I was impressed by his ability to manage multiple students in a group setting. Even with a load to manage Nick
took time to interact with children on the lift, ask other guest how they were doing, engaged by truly connecting
with others. A skill you simply cannot teach... So the point of this note is to thank you for hiring someone of his
caliber he’s got it all: the rare ability to be talented, kind, charming and humble all it once. We are beyond
grateful now I’ll be able to enjoy this new adventure with my husband in the future. I can’t wait to visit Jackson
Hole again hopefully soon”
Amazing reviews for and amazing group of people.

Behind the Uniform
Ali Stabler: HR & Safety Coordinator
Where are you from?
Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, yes it is all hyphenated.
How long have you worked for JHMR?
3 years-ish.
Favorite thing about your job?

lot outside the OSP.
Favorite run at JHMR?
Paint Bowl/Toilet Brush and Ted Steeps.
Most memorable moment at JHMR?
Easter Sunday 2013 skiing around in my Sunday best to celebrate the holiday.
What would you be doing if you weren’t working at JHMR?
Living in the 70’s dancing on Soul Train… or owning a bingo hall called “Blingo” where we only play hip hop
and you have to wear gold chainz and grillz to get in, Lil’ Wayne will call the Bingo numbers.
If there was a movie made about life at HR what would it be titled, and who would play you?
It would be a made for TV mini-series entitled Resourceful Humans: Episode 1: “Hire Packets” Episode 2: “Is my
pass ready yet?” Episode 3: “There’s something wrong with my ITS vouchers”, the lovely and classic Betty White
would play me, because I hope I’m that funny when I’m 90.
What is in your pocket?
Lets see…. Phone, wallet, keys, my ski pass, a mountain money card with approximately 20 cents on it, granola
bar wrappers, Christmas M&Ms, and some crumbs… too much stuff!?
Alec Lever: HR & Safety Assistant

3 Seasons.
Favorite thing about your job?
Working with awesome people, and getting to see everyone’s goofy email addresses.
Favorite run at JHMR?
Tower 3.
Most memorable moment at JHMR?
Early tram on pow day last season.
What would you be doing if you weren’t working at JHMR?
I would be a scuba diving instructor on St. Barts.
If there was a movie made about life at HR what would it be titled, and who would play you?
“Forever Filing: Sisyphus in Human Resources.” Played by Jason Biggs.
What is in your pocket?
A stick of gum and my ski pass.
