Washable Furniture Slipcovers
Instructions for installing L.L.Bean slipcover (Arm chair, sofa, or loveseat)
1. Steam or iron slipcover to reduce wrinkles as
needed.
4.Adjust the front fabric hem so it just touches
the floorline. Pull the loose fabric up towards
the seat cushion (Do not tuck yet).
6.Tuck and smooth the extra fabric on the
back and on the seat towards the back of the
cushions. Lift and tuck excess fabric into the
seat cushions.
5.Adjust the side panel hems to just touch the
floorline. Pull the loose fabric up and wrap the
arms. Tuck extra fabric into the crease at both
furniture arms.
7.Secure ties at the base of both back corners.
Locate the fabric belts at the two front corners.
Feed the belt through the top of loop sewn on
the side and tuck under and secure to the hook
and loop surface for a finished look. Smooth
surfaces.
2. Orient the slipcover to the furniture. Look for the
sewn tabs on the back seam on the underside of
the slipcover. Make sure the piped surface faces
up. It may help to pull the furniture away from
the wall and clear either side of the furniture
arms to create room for adjustment.
3.Drape the cover loosely over the back of the
furniture. Start from the center back.
