swimming deal. Swimming is a great day out; a family of four can enjoy flumes
and waves at Splash, fun floats at Billingham Forum and floats and inflatable at Thornaby
Pool for only £10.50 - with under 3’s always swimming free!
Learn something new and make it a summer you’ll never forget by picking up
a new hobby or improving your skills. Become more confident in the water or on ice
through our intensive five day ‘Learn to Swim’ and ‘Learn to Skate’ courses. If you’re feeling
a little more adventurous why not book onto our watersports activity days where you can
experience kayaking, canoeing or bell boating at the Tees Barrage.
If you’re a real dare devil then why not try white water rafting? We offer family rafting
so children aged 10 can enjoy the thrill of the water when accompanied by an adult. If
you prefer dry land how about spending an afternoon by the Tees Barrage - you can
enjoy a picnic or visit the River View Café while you watch the action unfold!
Did you know we now offer young people aged between 12-15
memberships at Activ8 health and Fitness? This means the whole
family can now work out together in our state-of-the-art gyms
and get fit with Activ8 this summer. Encourage your family to
get involved with a personalised programme and they will soon
