SENIOR HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
The Wayne County Office of Nutrition
Services serves hot lunches at the
Municipal Building. Lunches are served
Monday through Friday at 11:15 a.m.
To be eligible for the hot meal program,
you must be 60 years or older.
Suggested donation is $2.25. You must
make reservations 24 hours in advance
by calling 734-281-4200 ext. 3356.
SENIOR HOME-DELIVERED MEALS
A hot, home delivered meal is available
weekdays to seniors 60 years of age or
older who are confined to their home.
Suggested donation of $2.25 per meal.
A referral can be made by calling The
Wayne County Office of Nutrition
Services 1-800-851-1454.

City of Riverview
Travel Policy
The purpose of the Riverview Senior Travelers Program is to provide a safe
and enjoyable diversified travel program for residents 55 years and older. You
do not need a travel partner to participate.
SCHEDULING: All trips will be scheduled through the Riverview Recreation Department.
REGISTRATION: Registration will be in person at the Recreation Office.
You may register other seniors for the trips but you must have their name,
address, phone number and birthdate at the time of registration. On trips
subsidized by the City of Riverview, a $5.00 non-resident/non senior club
fee will charged. Registration is on a first come basis. Waiting lists will be
created when necessary. Residents will have the first week to register. After that, non-residents may sign up.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Refunds are available on day trips
if the spot can be filled from the authorized waiting list. Refunds on overnight trips are determined by the tour company. You must notify the Recreation Department of all cancellations.
EMERGENCY INFO: All travelers are asked to keep on their person, a
medical card containing emergency numbers, allergies, medication, etc.
TRIP DEPARTURE: All trips depart from the Riverview Municipal Building unless otherwise stated. We ask travelers to arrive 15 minutes prior to
the trip's departure.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Travelers are responsible for their own personal belongings (packages, camera, etc.)
ASSISTANCE: If you need personal assistance on any city-sponsored trips
(one-day or extended) because of a physical or visual handicap, please register with a friend who can act as your personal escort. City of Riverview
escorts must ensure the safety and comfort of the entire group. They cannot act as personal escorts for an individual attendee during a trip.
