Mansfield Hospital Expansion
We’re excited to share plans about an expansion taking
place on our campus.
MedCentral Mansfield Hospital continues to grow as a regional hub
for quality healthcare services. The new partnership with OhioHealth
provides the opportunity to expand key services on our campus such
as heart and vascular, orthopedics and surgery. Now there will be
even more resources to provide the highest quality healthcare to our
community members close to where they live. And, should you or
your family member need more acute healthcare services, they can be
seamlessly connected to one of OhioHealth’s other member hospitals.
The project will include
++ New and expanded surgery area
++ New medical office building
++ An orthopedic institute
++ A heart and vascular institute
Expansion Details:
++ 123,000 square foot medical office building
++ 34,000 square foot surgery department with 10 new surgery suites
plus two new open-heart surgery suites
++ Office space for additional
physician specialists
++ 26,000 square foot renovated hospital space
++ Expanded heart and vascular services including:

stress tests, PET CT
