We have two and three bedroom apartments available which have been built with extra wide doors and turning circles to allow easy access throughout for wheelchairs. We provide a Molift hoist, Chiltern shower chair and changing table for users with more complex needs. The Apartments are air-conditioned and have fully equipped kitchens including washing machine, dish washer, fridge-freezer, oven/hob and utility area. We have aparments in two locations within Puerto Pollenca. Our IPA Cervera apartments are a modern apartment block situated in the centre of Puerto Pollensa close to the town square. The building was completed in June 05 and was designed from new to be fully accessible for wheelchair users. The central location means restaurants and shops are close by and are easily accessible by wheelchair, the beach and pine walk area are less than 50 metres away. We have a 2- bedroom (1B) and Two 3 - bedroom apartments (2A &3A) available here. Our Vista Boquer apartments completed in the summer of 2007. Also situated in the centre of Puerto Pollensa, these modern purpose built apartments are ideal for disabled travellers visiting Puerto Pollensa. They have been designed, as have all our apartments, with extra wide door frames, open shower areas, wheelchair turning circles, accessible balconies and bedrooms etc...They also have a communal garden area and a swimming pool with a hoist. We have a 2- bedroom and a 3 - bedroom apartment available here. The brochure is currently being updated to show the facilities and photographs for the Vista Boquer apartments. This resort has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. It is particularly popular amongst families as it offers a safe environment due to much of the resort being pedestrianised. This also makes the resort suitable for wheelchair users. The locals welcome children wherever you go. No wonder it remains a favourite with families and couples who return time and time again. Originally a fishing village Puerto Pollensa retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll. On warm, balmy evenings everyone wanders up and down between the marina where the yachts are moored, past the pavement cafes and along the famous Pine Walk. With it's beautiful old properties and under the shade of the trees, the Pine Walk leads into the heart of Puerto Pollensa. Along the way there are several restaurants and bars, and the impressive views of the bay and the mountains can be enjoyed. The beaches on the Pine Walk enjoy the shade of the trees and provide the perfect spot for spending the day on the beach. The attractive old town of Pollença with its narrow streets and ochre roof houses is only 3 miles away and is well worth a visit. It is a haven of Mallorcan traditions one of which is the mock battle between the Moors and Christians where the expulsion of the Moors from island is celebrated which takes place in August. There are no steps and door thresholds are flush for wheelchair access. A Hoist is available to aid transfer. The hoist folds away so as to save space when not in use. The central location means restaurants and shops are easily accessible, the beach and pine walk area are less than 100 metres away. Puerto Pollensa's large promenade area makes it ideal for wheelchair users. There is always plenty to do in the area, whether it is a dip in the sea, a leisurely evening stroll or a swim in the local pool. The local pool is situated approx 100m from the apartments and has a chair and hoist which provides access for disabled users.
