2014 Interim Property Taxes
The taxpayers of the Town of Orangeville are reminded that the first installment of
the 2014 Interim Tax Bill is due: Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
Please note that failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer from the
responsibility for payment and/or late penalty charges. Penalty is charged at a rate
of 1.25% on the first day of each month following the due date. If you did not receive
your tax bill, please contact the Treasury Department at
519-941-0440 Ext. 2236/2257, by email at [email protected],

Program and Research Co-ordinator

The Program and Research Co-ordinator provides leadership in the
development and operation of the provision of library program and outreach
services for the community. This position is responsible for the collection and
analysis of community data required to inform library program planning and
development.
This position oversees the day-to-day work flow of programming services,
co-ordinates the planning and implementation of all library programs.
Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree with a focus on research
and community planning, as well as two to three years’ experience in a public
service environment at a supervisory level. Knowledge of Orangeville’s
community agencies and service providers would be considered an asset.
Your experience highlights your strong communication, customer service and
team leadership skills. You must also be able to assume responsibility and
require independent judgment, discretion and project management skills.
Some travel between the main branch located in our historic downtown as
well as a branch in the Alder Street Recreation Centre is required.
Salary Range:$64,773.80 - $73,600.80 (2013 Rates), Grade 8 on the Town’s
Pay Grid, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Help keep fire hydrants clear of snow
The Orangeville Fire Department is reminding residents to
be mindful of fire hydrants on or near their property when
clearing snow. Residents should assist in maintaining
access to hydrants wherever possible and should ensure
hydrants are not blocked by snow, ice, or any other
obstacles. If you have questions about municipal snow
