Worship through the Word with John Bryan
Worship through song with
Bob Smith
Our thoughts and prayers are with
Bob and his wife, Vickie. Bob has an
open invitation to be with us this
Fall as he is able.
None of us knows what tomorrow
holds, but we certainly know who
holds tomorrow.
Retreat Worship Leader
Visit Bob’s website at
Bob Smith
http://www.bobsmithmusic.org.
This is a great way to keep up with all that God is doing in his
life. We know Bob would love to hear from you during these
difficult days.
Retreat Pastor
John Bryan
John has been a preacher, pastor and
missionary for over 36 years. He has
served large churches, medium-sized
churches, and led in beginning a new
church. His experiences and interaction
with people are what he loves the most.
He’s an author, speaker, and passionately
involved in sharing Christ.
As a State Missionary with the Georgia
Baptist Convention for 16 years,
he’s been a Ministry Resource Consultant directly serving over
300 churches and is now working with Cooperative Program
Advancement serving over 3,600 churches across GA. He continues
to write, produce, and broadcast a one-minute devotional message
heard throughout the day across the state.
His three grown sons and three granddaughters are all actively
serving Christ in personal and professional ministries. His wife,
Clare, is also a popular speaker, conference leader, and author. She
will join John this week in our Fall Homecoming.
Worship through musical instruments with Jeff Cleghorn
After serving for 20 years on the staff of a local church in Warner Robins, Georgia, Jeff launched out into
full-time music evangelism in 2008. His concert and music ministry has carried him into many churches of
varied denominations in eight different states. Through his ministry, he provides piano concerts, leads music for
revivals, and does worship leader supply throughout the southeast. Jeff says, “God has put a song in my heart.
Whenever I sit down at the piano keyboard, my desire is that the listener hears God sing that song through my
hands. He alone is worthy of all praise.” In addition to his solo ministry, Jeff travels with his family performing
Southern Gospel music concerts as The Cleghorns.

Larry contributed to two GAITHER VIDEOS: Hawaiian Homecoming in 1998 and A Homecoming Concert in
Lakeland Florida. He performed with Gary McSpadden, Clay Crosse and Bob Carlisle in a 1999 New Year’s Eve

Deal, The Newly Wed Game, or Family Feud. Just be prepared. You don’t want to miss this fun filled afternoon with
lots of audience participation.
At 2:45 pm, or so, we will head to the Lakeside Dining Hall for an afternoon of FREE Bingo. This will be the time
where we give away many of your awesome door prizes. Just a reminder to make sure your church name, city, and

Brian Arner in concert
Space is limited
Tuesday, October 13, 7:00 pm
Thursday, October 15, 7:00 pm
Brian Arner is one of those singers who takes hold of your heart and will not let go. His voice is spectacular
and along with that is a special anointing. When he knelt at the altar as a boy and gave his heart and life to
the Lord, Brian had no idea God had gifted him with an incredible ability to sing. Although he was exposed
to music as he grew up in the church, it was not until he was twenty-three years of age his voice was revealed.
Since then, Brian has been singing from his heart the praises of Jesus Christ.
A great deal has happened since that time. Brian has emerged as one of the finest voices in inspirational
Christian music. His dramatic solo interpretations thrill, inspire and move his listeners. Whether Brian is
ministering in his hometown church, or sharing in the national ministries of Youth for Christ, Fellowship of
Christian Athletes, In Touch Ministries, Love Worth Finding, Turning Point Ministries or others, Brian’s vocal
quality is matched only by the depth and sincerity of his spirit. His genuine love for God, his family and those
around him is evident in all that he does.
$145.00/person
based on 2 guests per room, 2 nights, and 6 meals.
Single occupancy rooms are available at an additional cost of $40.00 for a total of $185.00.
Additional nights and meals are also available at great rates!
Please place this topic on your agenda for the next meeting of your church’s senior adult group. Determine if this conference will meet
the needs and desires of your senior adults, and call the conference center in Toccoa at 706-886-3133 or email [email protected] for
availability. It is important for you to know how many folks you want to reserve space for and the number of rooms you need. The team in
Toccoa will send you a confirmation for your review. Simply return the confirmation after it has been signed and approved, along with a check
to cover the cost of the deposit. To help us expedite check-in, please be prepared to pay your group’s final balance by church/group check or a
single credit card. Thank you.
Variety Show
We will be hosting your Variety Show on Day one (Monday and Wednesday) at 4:00 pm. You have plenty of time to “get your act together.”
We will mail your variety show performance sheet with your deposit receipt letter. Please don’t forget to mail this form back in your with your
rooming list. If you cannot say it, sing it, or do it in front of your mother it is inappropriate for the variety show!
Door prizes
The door prizes have been fun and are beautiful. Let’s do it again! Each church that registers is asked to bring a wonderful door prize valued at
$2.00 times the number of folks you are bringing. Each individual door prize should be valued at $10.00. If you bring 40 folks, then the door
prize should be an $80.00 value or it could be up to 8 individual door prizes. If you bring 5 folks, the door prize value should be $10.00. These
will be given away at different times throughout the festival. Your group must bring a door prize to be eligible to win door prizes. Please be
sure and put the name of your church on each door prize so we can recognize your group when it is given.
