Wednesday, 7 November 2012 • We are here in Da Nang City, Vietnam to par<cipate with AUF General Assembly 2012. On behalf of the President of POSSI or ISSA Freddy Numberi, who can not come due to state du<es we present as following:
INAF00 Report during AUF General Assembly
The POSSI BoD mee<ng with the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the second period (2012-­‐2016) in Jakarta, is intended to prepare a work program in 2012-­‐ 2013 and discuss issues encountered the the organiza<on in rela<on to the AUF and CMAS. The main issues discussed and decisions on the agenda were as follows:
Organiza<on commission:
•
The 8th Na<onal Congress of POSSI held at the Hotel San<ka Premiere Bali Kuta, on 17-­‐18 January 2012. Delibera<on possi who reported work program period 2008 -­‐ 2012 ongoing dynamic. Forum of the Na<onal Conference welcomes POSSI Chairman (Mr. Fredy Numberi) report, and aZer proposing the DraZ of 2012-­‐2016 Programme, Freddy Numberi was re-­‐
elected as the Chairman of POSSI. •
In addi<on to the member of POSSI, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province now become a member, thus POSSI have 33 member all over Indonesia. •
POSSI a\end the CMAS General Assembly in Rome, on 21 May 2012 also to discuss the admoni<on from the head quarter office in Rome, in connec<on with the use of old diving cer<ficate instead of the hologram card. Actually, we change the card gradually since 2010 with respect to the huge total area of Indonesia. POSSI will a\end the extraordinary CMAS General Assembly in Rome, on the 24 November 2012 and to discuss about the statute being proposed by the office of CMAS. Our chairman is examining item by item now, and will discuss the proposal statute with POSSI BoD aZer 14 November 2012.

We also create a website that facilitates access to POSSI member and divers in Indonesia, and can be accessed by anyone. Now, our website is in the process of entering new data and planned to be launch on 1 December 2012.
Championships and Refereeing Commission
POSSI has appointed two candidates to a\end the judge course in Da Nang, Vietnam along with the Finswimming Championships. Thus now, POSSI has 5 interna<onal judge.
Sports Commission Sports Commission -­‐ assisted by the General Secretary of POSSI preparing na<onal compe<<on and par<cipa<on in interna<onal championship programs in 2012. The following ac<vi<es are sports commission program that has been, and will be executed

A\end the 2nd Interna<onal Long Distance Finswimming Compe<<on in Anilao, Batangas, The Phillipines in January 2011. Indonesian team got 8 gold medals.

A\end the CMAS World Cup in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, held from 21-­‐23 May 2011. Indonesian team received two bronze medals.

A\end the 16th Finswimming World Championship in Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary 2011, 29 July -­‐ 4 August 2011. Even though Indonesia team did not get a medal, but it can improve the ranking or <me.
•
A\end the CMAS World Championship World Cup Golden Final, in enclosed sports complex Swimming Pool Yantai, China, 17-­‐19 September 2011. The Indonesian team successfully got two gold medals, two silver and three bronze.
•
Conduc<ng Finswimming Championship in a mul<-­‐event ~ SEA Games in Palembang 2011, from 19 to 21 November 2011. Indonesia team won 7 gold medals, 9 silver medals and one bronze medal, and 5 SEA Games record are broken.

Na<onal Championship Openwater Finswimming and Orienteering on the island of Ternate (East Indonesia) on 11-­‐14 July 2012.

A\end 13th Asian Finswimming Championships and Asian Junior 1st Finswimming in Da Nang, Vietnam, on 7-­‐9 November 2012. •
We have just designed an AUF Underwater Photography Compe<<on in 2013 assisted by general secretary of AUF mr. Byungdoo Lee.
•
To sustain Finswimming compe<<on in every SEA Games, we propose the establishment of the ASEAN Federa<on of Diving. Concerns on efforts in 2011, we have tried to increase the number of Finswimming par<cipa<ng countries to a\end SEA Games 2011 in Palembang. Countries who respond was only the Philippines and now Singapore and furthermore we expect Finswimming could remain competed in SEA Games 2013. Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. We expect Vietnam could lobby Myanmar, hoping that Finswimming will be competed in Southeast Asia con<nuously.

The Government of Indonesia and the Olympic Commi\ee of Indonesia is in the process of biding to host the Asian Games 2019, which will be held in Macau tomorrow. If Indonesia wins biding, we (POSSI) propose that Finswimming will be competed. Therefore we expect the support of Asian countries who a\end this mee<ng. Technical commiCee

AZer a long <me, we rearrange the guidebook/manual book of recrea<onal scuba diving lessons with some adjustable changes suited to the procedures of CMAS syllabus.
•
We have filmed the recrea<onal scuba diving lessons, that facilitate POSSI instructors throughout Indonesia having a uniform teaching method.
Scien<fic CommiCee
•
We organize 2nd Scien<fic Diving Short Course in Belitung Islands on June 1 to 3, 2012. In this second course have been awarded scien<fic divers cer<ficate in the field of underwater biology and underwater archeology.
•
We have announce to the member of POSSI the 6th Interna<onal Course of Scien<fic Diving in the Reserva de la Biosfera de Banco Chinchorro, in Quintana Roo, Mexico, from November 19th to November 25th, 2012. We hope that there are Indonesian scien<st who will par<cipate.
•
In colabora<on with the Center for Research and Development of Marine Geology (P3GL) will be held an Oceanology and Geology Scien<fic Diving Course in karimun Java islands, Central Java, Indonesia, early December 2012. This are open to AUF member scien<st.
Ecosystems and marine tourism CommiCee
•
In an<cipa<on of climate change POSSI ini<ate plan<ng corals to maintain ecosystem in the underwaters of Manado, and will be followed by other POSSI member all over Indonesia. This ac<vity began since 2009. POSSI ac<vi<es caring and sustaining the underwater environment was started in 2009, when Indonesia was declared as a country in the World Coral Triangle. Each year through events such as Sail Bunaken, Banda Sail, Sail Wakatobi, Sail Morotai POSSI assist the government in underwater environmental sustainability programs.
