Using the Infinity system couldn’t be easier or
more convenient:
Stepone.
• Infinity is based on Armstrong Accolade Plus
and Accolade Safe Plus.
Go to the ‘Design Your Floor’ page at
www.armstronginfinity.com and familiarise yourself
with the design tools.
• Starting with any of the standard 24 base
colour combinations of Accolade Plus and/or
Accolade Safe Plus, you can add one or two
more colours of your choice.
Steptwo.
If you intend to save and submit designs to Armstrong,
you will need to register your details. The website will
prompt you to register when required. •T
he colours that can be added are chosen
from the Armstrong standard colour chips
range, which have been matched to the
international Pantone Matching System
(PMS), so that you can rely on the accuracy
and appearance of your designs.
Stepthree.
You can create and save as many designs as you wish
using the online application.
• A sample of the design is produced for you
to approve.
Stepfour.
• Production takes just 8 weeks from the
date you approve your design sample.
• The minimum production run is 900
square metres, but by negotiation, we can
manufacture down to 300 square metres.
How it works.
Infinity is a web-based solution that allows you to create
a custom-designed floor online and then save and email
pdfs to clients or colleagues.
• Infinity offers unprecedented freedom to create a
custom-designed floor by mixing, matching and
experimenting like never before.
• The design software and tools are effective and simple to
use; in particular, the 3D texture function, which allows you
to better simulate the final look of your design.
• There is no limit to the designs that can be created for
consideration and saved as pdfs for printing out or emailing
to clients or colleagues.
Once you have decided on your preferred design for
production, save it and request to see an Armstrong
Sales Representative. If you have not already opened
a user account, you should create one by following the
online prompts.
Stepfive.
You will be contacted by an Armstrong representative within
7 days (or earlier if required) to discuss timing, production
of your customised Infinity Lab sample and any particular
project requirements you may have.
Stepsix.
Lab samples are produced and delivered to you for final
approval within 14 days of sample being requested.
Stepseven.
Production and delivery of an Infinity floor takes 8 weeks
from date of approval of Lab sample.

Can I create my own base colour?
See previous answer.
If my choice of additional colours is taken
from the standard Armstrong colour chips
range, how can I tell what the final result will
be without an accurate colour guide?
When you go online to start designing your floor,
you’ll see that the Armstrong standard colour
chips range has been matched to the
international PMS colour system to help you in
your colour selection.
Because colours don’t necessarily
reproduce accurately online, do I get a
pre-production sample prior to confirming
the production run?
How long will production of my
design take? Armstrong has two production facilities in
Melbourne, which allows short lead times and
production flexibility. Your customised Infinity
floor will take 8 weeks from approval of sample.
What is the minimum run for a
customised Infinity floor?
900 square metres, but we can produce down
to 300 square metres by negotiation. Yes, pre-production samples are supplied as part
of the service.
Can you produce additional quantities of
my customised design if required?
How closely will the pre-production sample
match the final product?
Due to the production process and the online
application, any design you have specified and
saved can be recreated at any time.
Any variation between the sample and the finished
product will be minimal. The manufacturing
process varies slightly, but the materials used for
producing samples are identical to those used in
the production run.
Can I add more than 5% of 2 chip colours to
the Accolade base?
The Infinity production system is limited to 2 chips
at 5% (eg 2.5% per chip). However, we have the
flexibility to produce a more customised product if
you wish, with price on application.
Note that possible variations in pigments and raw materials may result
in shade and pattern variations between different batches.
Can I get Infinity in a Safe Plus finish?
Yes, but the minimum quantity is
900 square metres.
Is it possible to customise other
Armstrong flooring products? We have the flexibility to produce customised
versions of all our Australian made sheet and
tile products.
