VIKINGS CHILDREN’S FUND
There have been many changes on and off the field for the Minnesota Vikings since the team’s inception, but the organization’s steadfast
commitment to children has always remained the same.
The Vikings Children’s Fund was established in 1978 and has since raised over $10 million to give back to those in need. The Vikings
Children’s Fund is a means for Vikings players, coaches, cheerleaders, staff and their families to help children in our community. The fund
distributes grants to health, education and family service organizations benefiting children here in the upper midwest.
In 2014, the Vikings Children’s Fund distributed over $500,000. $225,000 was given to the University of MInnesota Department of
Pediatrics and over $280,000 was awarded to more than 80 Upper Midwest nonprofit organizations.
