WIREMASTER
WIREMASTER stands for an extremely compact and economic display and monitoring system, which has been developed
specifically for wire drawing and similar applications. The electronic unit with display is contained in a robust aluminum box.
In conjunction with the appropriate measuring heads of the ODAC® series, ZUMBACH offers ideal systems for monitoring of
diameter, ovality, wire breaks etc. Capacitance measuring systems of the series CAPAC® HS-J can also be connected.
All important values can be evaluated statistically. Multiple WIREMASTER units can be linked through serial connections and
connected to a host computer.

Greatly Resistant to Harsh Environment
Wire Drawing is a difficult environment for optical gauging, in particular when dry
lubrication (soap powder) is used. In order to minimize the cleaning interval,
ZUMBACH offers a special "Pressurized Dust Guard" (for ODAC® 15XY and 18XY
models). The guard consists of a block with an aerodynamically optimized
labyrinth and two wire eyelets with ceramic inserts. Clean, compressed air is
necessary to feed the guard. The complete block can be quickly snapped-in
or out of the standard measuring head. The ceramic inserts must be selected
according to the wire diameter range.
