Rules
~ Unload and park in designated areas only
~ Horses and all other animals must be under
control at all times. Slow walk your horse
thru the camp at all times.
~ Stay on marked horse trails only. Riding
Off horse trails is prohibited.
~ Riding on Park roadways and roadsides
is prohibited and you will be ticketed/cited.
~ Tethering Horses or other animals to
trees is prohibited. Please use tie rails.
~ Animals are prohibited from chewing
on or causing damage to trees.
~ Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in any
State Park or campground.
~ Keep all pets on a leash at all times. Dogs
are NOT Allowed on Horse Trails.
~ Clean up your camping area before you
leave/dispose of waste in designated area.
~ Camping units or other property left unattended in a 24 Hour Period will be disposed of at owner’s expense.

The Hueston Woods Horseman’s Camp:
Day Ride area is available with ample parking
for unloading and saddling up. Day Riders-DO
NOT PARK on a campsite you will be charged
Camping rate if you do.
Arena use is available, donation box by entrance
gate; rental of arena available by contacting the
Park Office 513-523-6347.

The Hueston Woods Horseman’s Camp:
Offers 19 Electric; 22 Non-electric campsites;
tie rails; 3 water hydrants located throughout
camp; 18 or more miles of trails with a scenic
rest area on Trail “C” noted as Lookout Point
at Lake Acton dam.
Online reservations are available by

6 walk-up sites available 3 Electric and 3 non
electric, these are on a first come/first serve
basis, contact 513-523-1060 (camp store).

Trail Description: There are over 18 miles of Bridle trails in the rolling
hills and valleys of south west Ohio. There are moderate to steep
hills, dirt, small gravel areas, several shallow streams. Difficulty
2 - 3. **DO NOT RIDE ON ROADS**
Facilities: There are 19 electric, 23 non-electric campsites with
tie rails, water for humans and horses, pit toilets, shower house,
shelter, arena & announcers booth, day ride parking, wash rack,
and manure pits. Online reservations available at
