A Message from Dr. Adams
CHANGES AT CHC
Although our work over the years has mainly been about chiropractic and massage, we
have also offered naturopathic, acupuncture,
physical therapy, yoga therapy and counseling as
part of our little universe. It has worked well to
support us all as healers and provided a great
environment for our patients, while requiring a
greater time commitment to manage a larger
practice.
Through deep and extended reflection, I have
decided to simplify and streamline the practice
so I can bring my focus back to patient care,
which is the heart of my work. Managing a
smaller group will allow me to spend less time
and energy on administration and more time doing “hands on” therapy.
Ultimately I hope to bring a compatible chiropractor into the mix again to better serve
the needs of our patients and allow for flexibility with the usual elements of a balanced
life – vacations, family and life.
To better reflect this return to our core focus, we have returned to using Chiropractic
Healing Center for our name.
We will continue to serve our community with chiropractic care, cranial work and highly-
skilled massage therapy. Pam Skeele, LMT, Emma Kim, LMT and Jude Painton, LMT
will continue to offer their excellent myofascial skills, varied healing approaches and
fresh interest.
Personally, my work will include the same broad set of approaches in terms of
techniques and patient treatment, and I am excited to be moving towards a time with
fewer distractions.
After an extensive search we have decided to stay in the Wilcox building – it is the best
place for CHC to call home. We have been in our current location for the last 23 years
and enjoyed the character of the building, the natural light and the great location. Our
space will be smaller and we plan to use this opportunity to freshen and reorganize our
office. Tharon Cate and Jill Boyce will continue as our stellar staff. There will be
minor changes in our schedule overall, and I am adding dedicated time to my schedule to
support folks who choose to continue their care within our office.
Stay with us and remember that the spirit of good health, healing and cooperation
lives on at CHC!

NEW CONTACT INFO
Lisa Burtraw, LMT is now offering services at three locations, in Veneta
and Eugene. She will be offering healing in Eugene down the hall from us in
the Bijou building, and at Float OM - Healing Center & Flotation Tanks, at
111 East 16th Avenue, and also in Veneta at the Dodeca Arts Center,
located at 24524 Suttle Road, a short drive just outside of Eugene on a very
special piece of land. Amenities include a luxurious sauna equipped with
shower and clawfoot bath tub as well as peaceful walking trails that lead right onto the
grounds of the Oregon Country Fair.

Michael Madans, LMT has recently married and is relocating to Minneapolis
soon with his daughter, Althea and his wife Abigail, who is there now in
residency as a D.O. at Hannepin.
Lily Lunneman-Warden, LMT is now practicing at The
Pearl Day Spa, 1375 Pearl Street, Eugene, (541) 683-3377
Bill Walter, ND, is now serving the community through the Charnelton
Community Clinic (171 W 7th ave, Ste 100, (541) 682-3550). Bill is very
effective working within more traditional medical environments and
bringing the perspective of natural medicine to the mix. His private
practice patients may want to follow him there, or our office has
information to refer to other naturopaths, should the need arise. We have
enjoyed working together and we wish him well.
Dr. Jeff Foster will continue to be at CHC until the end of August, when he will be moving to
Oregon Integrated Health, 1029 River Road, Eugene. While anyone can see
him at this facility, Jeff is specifically encouraging patients with OHP
insurance to seek his services at this location. Because it is a Primary Care
facility, OHP patients will be able to use their insurance benefits for Jeff's

Jeff will also be moving his private practice to a new location as yet to be
determined. Details will be available on the CHC website as things become more clear, or you
