The avant-garde domestic kitchen with sinks and appliances by Franke and extractor hoods by Faber. The
bathroom with faucets born of KWC’s know-how. And furthermore, top quality professional coffee
machines and food service systems appreciated the world over. This is the world of the Franke Group,
which participates in the Milan Fuorisalone events – in the Brera Design District circuit – with Make It
Wonderful.
Franke’s exclusive new creations are on display next to the extractor hoods by Faber, embodying the
results of cutting-edge design and technology research, and solutions focusing on the joy of coffee and
stylish bathroom fittings: at the "Just an hour ago” exhibit, to be held at Spazio Solferino 40, in Milan,
from 12 to 17 April 2016.
Based on a project by architect Carlo Colombo, "Just an hour ago” presents functional products
showcased in golden frames like veritable artworks and engaged in a dialogue with artistic interpretations
that underscore their essence.
Milanese photographer Pietro Baroni, in fact, has produced five gigantic blow-ups, using his camera to
give life to as many artistic interpretations that exalt the synergetic effects of the five microcosms
represented by Franke, Faber and the other Group brands.
Starring in this photoshoot is the excellence of the Franke Group in its various expressions: the new
coordinated, range-topping system of Frames by Franke sinks and appliances, for a perfectly
personalised cooking experience thanks to the modular design of the 67 elements making up the system;
Chloé and Corinthia hoods, Faber’s exclusive new creations, portrayed, respectively, in a photo of a
design trapeze that gets across all the classical style revisited with a flair for Urban style, and a cylindrical
hood installation characterised by a faceted effect that makes it all the more precious; the KWC ZOE awardwinning bathroom faucets, a refined combination of functionality and aesthetics, and a veritable icon of a
modern wellness oasis; and finally, the professional side of the Franke line-up, with its exclusive coffee
machines and renowned food service implements, the fruit of a know-how that brings together groundbreaking technology and excellence.
A path that strikes a balance between figurative art and design, where the objects interact with the works
through a well-thought-out alternation of solids and empty space. The show takes the visitors on a journey
to the discovery of parallel and complementary worlds that accompany their daily lives with products
characterised by increasingly attractive and innovative design combined with user-friendly functionality. An
exciting revelation of household appliances conceived to make every moment of the day less ordinary,
whether at home or at a bar or a restaurant.
