for which we have arranged very competitive prices! If you decide to stay in either
Copthorne in Queenstown, or Golden Gate in Cromwell, please tick the package you
prefer and add 10% of cost to your entry fee. All prices are for six nights - Sunday
through to Saturday, GST included.

AUTUMN GOLF CLASSIC
This event will be played under following conditions:

One round at each of the 5 eighteen hole courses.
All players MUST be a registered golfer with an official handicap at time of entry.
Australian golfers affiliated to AGU will have Handicap Index reduced by two. (Experience has shown the inequality of course rating system requires this adjustment to attempt to equate handicaps of players from both countries.)

Maximum Handicap Index; Women 30.0; Men 24.0;
•
Competition is Stableford, plus Gross for senior golfers.
•
Alterations to published draw can only be made by C O Autumn Classic Officials.
•
Members of a National PGA are welcome to enter.
• Play off club handicap if they have one to maximum of 0
•
Otherwise play off 0
•
This Golf Classic is played under the “Rules of Golf” as set out by R & A of St Andrews
•
Ties will be decided by lot.
•
The decision of the committee on all points, disputes and protests shall be final.
•
Only Entries received with payment in full will be accepted.
Prizes:
INDIVIDUAL
• Best Stableford points each day on each golf course in grades. One prize given for
every four players
• Best aggregate Stableford Points over the five rounds in grades. Grades are
calculated on handicap. Women and Men in different sections.
• Two’s are included in your entry fee.
TEAMS OF FOUR
• Prizes for best teams over the 5 rounds. Best 3 stableford scores each day to count.
• Three sections: Men; Women; Mixed (two women and two men)
• Prize Giving at SKYLINE RESTAURANT in Queenstown on Friday 11th.
(Non golfing partners wishing to attend need to indicate on entry form)
This Classic is under the ownership and direct control of the five golf clubs, with
John Roche as our Tournament Director.
John brings to this event experience gained through over 40 years of involvement in golfing
events and the five clubs are confident that this third Mount Michael Central Otago Autumn
Golf Classic will continue as one of the great annual golfing events in New Zealand.

Bus Transport
Luxury Central Motorways bus’s will leave from Copthorne Hotel in Queenstown and return
each day for your round of golf, and also to Skyline on Friday Evening for Prize Giving.
Please note: You do not need to be staying at the Copthorne Hotel to enrol for bus transport.
Prize Giving at Skyline on Friday Evening
Your entry fee covers this evening including ride on Gondolas, Three course meal and Prize
Giving. From 6.00pm with seating by 7.00pm Dress standard, casual/smart.
