STORY MODE
T
he tale of GOC is greatly
enhanced by the strong
character driven storyline.
Throughout the course of the
game, the player will witness
the humanity and drama of
each character.
The story mode not only
sets the tone of the game, but
it’s an important briefing
moment for your mission
objectives. Also, important
decisions are often made in the
story mode.

KINGDOM 101: HOW TO
MANAGE YOUR LAND
STEP 2
STRATEGY MODE
A
fter the opening story, the player will begin
the strategy mode to build and
strengthen the kingdom. In the beginning, the
kingdom is small and weak. However, as you
progress through the game, the player can
conquer neighboring kingdoms and stretch its
ruling powers throughout the land of Duke.
T
he army
commanders will
carry out the orders
during the strategy
mode. Here in the
strategy mode, the
player can improve the kingdom’s infrastructure,
commerce, military, and foreign relations.
Send a commander to the
regional castle/village/town.
Select what you want to improve:
economy, military, or
fortification.
Walla! All done, but don’t forget
it cost money to improve the
kingdom.
Traveling between towns and villages is done by
walking on grids. Watch out when you travel,
you never know when you will be attacked!

How to Move
Select a character to move…
And your moving range will be
displayed.
Main Headquarters
Lose your main headquarters
to an invasion and you lose the
game.
TIME
Keeping a good amount of
force at your headquarters is
a must!
T
ime in GOC passes by months and years to
add strategic realism. There are four
seasonal changes along with weather changes,
affecting both travel and battle conditions.
Watch out, some characters are stronger in bad
weather, such as rain and snow. Therefore,
always check your enemy before invading a
distant land.

BATTLE MODE
U
nlike any other strategy RPG for the PSP
platform, Generation of Chaos
features massive, sixty-character battles as well as
sneaky espionage tactics.
Battle begins when you encounter
an enemy on the field map.
Set up your battle tactics for the
troops.
Whopping 30 vs. 30 character battles!
Your troops will carry out your
orders. Battle commands can be
changed anytime during battle.
Espionage can greatly affect the outcome
of the war! Destroy enemy
infrastructure, disrupt the economy, and
lower enemy moral!

Unlike the ordinary soldier,
commanders can be individually
controlled to attack specific
enemies or to pull off his/her
super moves!

BATTLE FORMATIONS
Choose battle formations according
to enemy strengths and
weaknesses!
C
heck enemy types before setting your
battle tactics. Are the enemies long
sharp shooters or close combat experts? Set
your battle tactics according to enemy
fighting styles. Waiting for the enemy to
come towards you would probably not be a
good idea against ranged attack experts!
D
uring combat, commanders can
overwhelm enemy troops by using
their super moves! The more damage the
commander receives, the more energy is
charged. Once you have enough energy, you
can pull off a super move to destroy your
foes. Watch out though, enemy commanders
have their own super moves, too!
