Suite e Junior Suite
Location
Château Monfort has 5 suites, 2 of which are open space, and 3 Junior
Suites. ?Their sources of inspiration are the operas that lend the rooms
a touch of truly unique exclusivity and poetry.
Each of the 3 Suites are formed by two rooms leading off an entrance.
The rooms feature four-poster beds concealed amongst gauzy curtains
and romantic alcoves. There are spectacular dragon headboards - in
memory of Princess Turandot's headdress - or bucolic French
landscapes in Violetta's alcove of love or again butterflies painted a
kimono to evoke Madam Butterfly's love song.
Abundant natural light and a magnificent view over Piazza Tricolore
characterise the magic atmosphere in the 3 Suites, thanks to the very
fine windows with trimmings in the style of days gone by, while the
windows themselves been replaced with avant-garde models to ensure
excellent sound-proofing. The suites also have a bath tub in the rooms.
The 2 open-space Suite - Cenerentola and Bohème - recreate luxury
atmospere and the theatre scenery of the famous ballet Cinderella and
the most classic and Bohemian of operas. They have a unique
atmosphere and an insuperable position on the attic floor of the
Castle with a breathtaking view of the blue sky during the day and of the
romantically starry night!
In addition to the 5 Suites, Château Monfort also has 5 Junior Suites,
likewise inspired by the theatre. They recreate the plots of five operas:
Uccello di fuoco, Traviata, Butterfly, Tourandot, Cindarella.
Château Monfort is situated just behind
Piazza San Babila, very close to the
"quadrilatero" fashion district that begins in
Via Monte Napoleone and not very far from
Milan's Duomo.
It is located in a strategic position and is
well connected with the nearby Milano
Linate airport. In fact, the taxi stand in
Piazza Tricolore, opposite the Hotel, is
conveniently close. Alternatively guests
can travel to and from the airport by bus,
tram and underground railway, which they
also use to easily reach any part of the
city.

From this area, guests go through into the Sala del Rubacuori, with
small round mirror-surfaced tables and beautiful silver painted chairs
with comfortable, heart-shaped seats in pastel shades.
To the left of the main Sala del Rubacuori is the Alcova del Rubacuori
(or Room of Mirrors) with comfortable retro chic sofas reinterpreted with
a modern look.
To the right of the main Sala del Rubacuori is the Sala della Caccia (or
Trophy Room), a light-hearted recreation of a hunting lodge decorated
with white pottery hunting trophies.

When the clock strikes midnight and not just then... At Midnight the
large clock, made by Eberhard according to a design customised for
Château Monfort, strikes the hour.
The fascination of this Lounge Bar originates from a trip to an antiques
market, an idea that was then turned into reality with a bar decorated
with columns, scrolls, ornate details and old copper patinas.
The Bar Mezzanotte lounge bar is an ideal place for indulging in a tasty
breakfast at the hotel, sampling refined blends of tea and coffee
accompanied by small pastries all made at the Château Monfort, or for
light lunches, luncheons or for sipping cocktails, aperitifs, even for after
