2013 - Global Orphan Foundation

October 1, 2014
Dear Friends,
This past year has been an exciting year for the Global Orphan Foundation. While our hearts break when we
witness the poverty, injustices, and suffering many children experience around our world, the discouragement
is changed into something much more powerful when we see the realities of hope, generosity, and those that
care to make a difference. We are forever amazed at how many people take the time to learn about the lives of
the impoverished, malnourished and vulnerable orphaned children the foundation serves and even more
amazed that they take the time to learn what they can do to help. We are deeply grateful for the dedicated
volunteers, supporters and partners who enable the Global Orphan Foundation to provide impactful and
meaningful support to these children.
In 2013 generous supporters have enabled us to help hundreds of children find families of their own through
our Camie’s Hope Adoption Grant. Volunteers partnered with orphanages and communities in Nicaragua and
Mexico to provide nutritional and educational support. We were able to advance our keystone initiative, the
Pebble Project, with a comprehensive nutrition program for orphans in Democratic Republic of Congo. We
have plans to offer even more holistic care in the future including homes, education and medical care.
We continue to be touched by people’s capacity for giving and compassion for those less fortunate. With your
help, Global Orphan Foundation is committed to helping more children around the world in the coming years.
If you’d like to join us and you have not had a chance to be involved this year, please explore the various
opportunities on the GOF website: www.globalorphanfoudation.org or consider making a donation using the
enclosed form.
If you’re already among our volunteers or supporters, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and want
you to know that your generosity truly changes lives and gives hope to the most vulnerable children in our
world.
Sincerely,
Michele Jackson & Wayne DeVeydt, Founders
