Bear Story
After a great Thanksgiving Dinner, Monday October 10th I awoke
to my truck's mirror's missing, a flat tire and big dints where the
vehicles windows go into the doors. Immediately I thought
bears, called conservation at 1-877-952-7277 to report.
Vehicle Alarm on;
●Keep eye on pooh or markings
nearby; and
●Use bear bangers or bottle
rockets only from a safe distance

There nose's are
estimated at 2,000 times
as powerful as humans
(grizzlys 100,000)
Sea to Sky Bears are usually 200-600lbs (4 to 6 Feet), black, furry
and keep away from structures and humans. As the cooler October
temperatures, rain and shorter day light conditions change these
bears get hungry and there nose's are not small by any means

Sub- Species:
Altifrontalis or olympic black bears are the most common in the pacific northwest
coastal regions from central British Columbia through northern California and the
inland to the tip of northern Idaho
Kermodei, Kermode, or Popular Spirit bear's have not been seen in the Whistler,
Squamish or Pemberton area's but the central coast region. Approximately 10% of the
population has white or cream-colored coats due to recessive genes. The other 90% of
Kermodes are normal-colored black bears.
