YOU ARE INVITED!
“Dusty Shoe”
Walk-Thru
Friday, April 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Have you noticed the changing scenery while driving by the Marian
Home? With all of the new construction, members of our community
have been curious about what the view from the inside looks like.
The Marian Home is going through a major expansion and enhancement
to our facilities in order to create a place for our
residents that feels more like “home”. We are inviting friends of the Marian Home to attend a “Dusty Shoe” Walk Thru on Friday, April 29, from
4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This event is an opportunity to share our progress in
turning a vision into reality.
Please join us for a tour and social gathering. The event will include heavy appetizers and
refreshments. You can RSVP by contacting Eric Halverson at (515) 576-1138 or [email protected]. We ask guests to enter through the exit door on the southeast side
of the Village on 6th Ave N next to our new chapel; signs will be posted to direct you.

Please see reverse side for a capital campaign update!
The Capital Campaign is Underway!
Over the past few months a committee, comprised of Holy Trinity
parishioners, has been working on the Share Our Faith…Secure Our
Future Capital Campaign. This effort will assist in funding a
project to enhance and expand the Marian Home’s facilities.
The goal is to create a place that feels more like “home” for
residents and patients.
One hundred percent (100%) of the Marian Home Board of
Directors has given and 80% of the staff has made a commitment.
We have also received pledges and contributions from individual
supporters of the Marian Home, relatives of current and former residents
and local businesses. To date we have raised nearly $900,000!
All Holy Trinity parishioners will soon be asked to make a financial commitment to enrich
the lives of current and future Marian Home residents. It is our hope that all will participate
in the campaign.

Don Phillips went on a tour recently to check out the progress and
to see what gypsum board we
were using as he use to make the
board when he was working!!
Needless to say I think we passed
the inspection.
The next tour we did there was a
cardinal flying around in the rafters of the chapel.
We are taking this
as a SIGN!!

Easter Egg Hunt
Again this year at our Easter Egg Hunt we had bunnies and chicks. The residents love to
see the animals as much as they love to see the kids running around hunting Easter Eggs!!
Thank you so much to the girls that took time out of their day to share them with us!!
