10 DAYS RWANDA GORILLA PRIDE
Day 1: Arrival
Pick you up from the Airport and take you to your accommodation in Kigali the capital of Rwanda.
Depending on your arrival time, take a mini city tour visiting the memorial and historical places in
Kigali.
Dinner and overnight:
Milles Collines/Kigali serena/Beaus ejour hotel
Day 2: Kigali-Nyungwe forest
Drive to Nyungwe forest resident to Chimpanzee and other primates, as well as forest birds.
Dinner and overnight:
Gisakura guesthouse/Nyungwe forest lodge
Day3: Chimpanzee tracking- Parc des nationals PNV)
Rise early for your forest walk in search for Chimpanzee and other primates’ resident here. In the
afternoon we transfer to the Gorilla Land PNV.
Dinner and overnight:
Gorilla nest lodge/La Palme hotel/Muhabura hotel.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking Parc des Nationales volcans
Have an early morning breakfast and we are ready to head to the park where we shall also have
warm up cup of coffee or tea . Have a short briefing about your Gorilla trek. Head to the jungle in
search for these shy and yet gentle giants. Enjoy every minute of the one hour of viewing the Gorillas
when you finally find them.
Later, take a visit to the communities that live near the forest. Proceeds from this visit are a direct
way of giving back to the community.

Day 5: PNV- Lake Kivu- Gisenyi
The rising sun makes a beautiful day. Have you breakfast and we set off to Lake Kivu the lake with
very beautiful scenery. We stop in Gisenyi town where we shall have lunch.
In the evening, we are off on the Golden crystal waters of lake Kivu for a very rewarding sundowner
cruise.

Kivu serena/ Kivu Sunhotel/Bethanie guest house.
Day 6: Lake Kivu-Kigali
Drive from Lake Kivu to the capital. Take a rest at your hotel.

Day 7: Kigali- Akagera
This scenic drive takes us to the wild side of Rwanda as we meander through the rolling hills that
define the land of Rwanda. A very spectacular scenery. Arrive in Akagera whwere we shall have a
game drive.

Akagera game lodge/ Dereva Hotel
Day 8: Akagera National park
Have an early morning game drive. In the afternoon, go for a community walk

Day 9: Akagera –Kigali
After breakfast, travel back to the capital. We shall then embark on a city tour visiting Ntarama
memorial Nyanza and Kigali Museum. Wrap up the day with a great cultural extravaganza.

Day 10: Departure
We shall drop you to the Airport today and hope you will have fond memories of Rwanda.
