4 Click on the database you want, which will depend on the subject you’re researching.
History Reference Center provides access to books, articles, and related
pictures and video about famous historical people and events.
MagilonLiterature and Literary Reference Center contain information and
photos pertaining to books, plays, poetry, and writers.
Science Reference Center includes books, articles, and related photos and
videos on scientists, diseases, experiments, environment, etc.
5 Sample search for Literature – you’re looking for literary criticism on the book Little Women . If you just type
“Little Women” in the search box, you will get many results that are other than literary criticism.
So leave the search box empty, and click Advanced Search.
6 On Advanced Search screen, Make 4 selections (see red arrows) before you hit the search button.
1 Type Little Women in the search box,
2 toggle the “Select a Field” box to TITLE.
3 Then under “Limit your results,” click a checkmark in “Full Text”. This prevents
you from getting descriptions of articles that are not available in this database.
4 Finally, under “Document type,” toggle to “Literary Criticism”

7 When you get your results, just click HTML full text or PDF full text to open and read an article.
8 When an article is open, you can print it, email it, add it to a folder, get and copy citation information in the
format of your choice, or get a permalink to the article.
