LIMERICK
Royal de Luxe is a world renowned street theatre company,
founded in France in 1979 by Jean-Luc Courcoult. They have
since performed in front of more than 18 million spectators in
over 170 cities, in 40 countries on five continents.
In Limerick from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th of September, Royal
de Luxe will deliver a unique Irish urban tale, bringing their
Giant’s Saga to Ireland for the first time. The Giant will tell a
story in the city over three days of free family entertainment.
The Giant is handled, like a marionette, by tens of Lilliputians,
which have become a directly identifiable signature of the
company.
