BEDAZZLED
You’ll be dazzled by this delectable damask. The pattern of pretty framed
medallions is interrupted by vertical striae that create an ikat appearance
for this wallcovering. On trend coloration of the eight inch diamond
shapes brings the classic motif into the twenty first century. There are six
multi-hued selections including cream, grey and yellow or creamy pearl,
aquamarine and kiwi. Potential partners are Glitz or Heartbeat.
SHOJI
The Asian influence behind this design is self-evident. The simple, yet
fascinating, pattern resembles woven ribbons forming hexagonal shapes
atop a solid field, some with a pearl or metallic sheen. This wallcovering
comes in five palettes that range from gentle to bold, such as white, pale
grey and pearlescent beige or robin’s egg blue, white and lime green.
Incorporate with Palm Palace or Bedazzled in your decorating project.
HEARTBEAT
Looking, for all the world, like fabric, this herringbone pattern has a
raised texture that makes the mock threads look very real. The classic
flame stitch design is brought up-to-the minute with the blending of
wonderful Waverly colors. The five selections include lavender, lilac,
cream and taupe or various greys with dusty sand and ecru. Potential
companions are A New Leaf or Santa Maria.
A NEW LEAF
A delightfully playful design, branching twigs sprout a plethora of
uniquely shaped leaves. Printed in a variety of pretty shades, the foliage
is displayed on a solid field, some with a pearly sheen. This wallcovering
is available in five multicolored palettes including cream, purple
plum, lilac, robin’s egg blue, grey, yellow, green and lavender. It works
wonderfully well with Lovely Lattice or Starry Eyed.
GARDEN GATE
Lacy filigree forms pretty diamonds on a solid field. The three inch high
medallions resemble a hand crafted lock plate on an antique garden
gate. Some of the striking dual color combinations feature metallic
sheen while others are done in attractive matte inks. Among the seven
selections is hot pink with silver satin or marine blue with crisp white. In
a Waverly world use this wallcovering along with Glitz or Palm Palace in
coordinating hues.
SWEET GRASS
Richly textured, this wallcovering mimics grass cloth or a heavy woven
fabric but while the lovely appearance is similar, this version is far
more durable and practical. The raised inks and subtly variegated
colors contribute to the realism of the woven look. One could use this
paper effectively in nearly any decorating project from traditional to
postmodern. Pair with Bellisima Vine in lime green and cream or with
Santa Maria in cream and muted tomato red.
CENTRO
In a modified ogee design four inch high ovals frame concentric
diamond shapes, while additional diamonds fill the spaces in between.
Minute dots and dashes lend the look of texture to the background
while the pattern has a slightly hazy effect that softens the appearance.
The five selections are gentle in color including blue chambray, white
and pale grey or grey, cream and pale yellow. Santa Maria or Bedazzled
would make a lovely partner to this wallcovering.
SANTA MARIA
There is a charming naïveté about this pattern. With the feeling of folk art
or stylized stenciling, this appealing floral wallcovering has the look of
block printed fabric. The ethnic design is printed in six wondrous Waverly
color combinations, some with metallic highlights. An excellent example
is inked in cream, purple plum, coral, orange, yellow and yellow/green.
Complete the charming handcrafted look with Centro or Glitz.
LOVELY LATTICE
An ogee pattern is made complex with the addition of geometric figures
woven throughout the onion shapes and connecting them one to
another. The intricate lattice design of this wallcovering is reminiscent
of an Asian screen or a wrought iron window grill in an exotic Arabian
souk. Seven palettes include deep plum with shining gold or silver grey
satin with rich cream. Mix and match with Santa Maria or Palm Palace in
suitable colors.
HIGHWIRE STRIPE
Neat and tidy and refreshing as a peppermint stick! This narrowly
striped wallcovering is a timely version of a timeless pattern that looks
exceptionally attractive with wainscoting or a chair rail. Consider
incorporating the half inch regimented stripes, in smoky marine blue,
light blue and white or wisteria purple with greys, with the curvilinear
Bellisima Vine or Arbor Trail.
PALM PALACE
This whimsical Waverly motif is sure to make you smile. The Asian
influenced toile features interesting characters and amusing animals
among towering palms, pretty pagodas, exotic flowers and scrolling
vines. The small print is available in your choice of seven dual color
combinations including bright and refreshing robin’s egg blue and white
or dramatic deep purple plum and shining gold. Flattering companions
are Shoji or Lovely Lattice.
BLING IT ON
This little pattern, a mere inch and a half in size, is applied with raised
inks on a solid color background. A merging of miniature medallion with
fleur-de-lis, the design is an almost whimsical take on classic traditional
decor and would be a boon companion to Santa Maria or Bedazzled.
Five palettes include wisteria purple and satin pearl or pristine white
with ebony black.
FRAMEWORK
Small, simple, unprepossessing…yet this quatrefoil pattern is so effective
on its own or with a companion wallcovering. The classic geometric
shape is a mere inch square printed in raised contrasting ink upon a
solid field. There are eight tasteful dual color combinations including
Wedgwood blue with white or cream with purple lilac. In a Waverly
world, use this with Palm Palace or A New Leaf in beautifully blending
colors.
CHANTAL
This geometric pattern is composed of stripes of staggered circles
surrounding simple stylized flowers. The raised whimsical design of the
wallcovering is further enhanced with such pretty color combinations as
cream, pale celery green and dark chocolate or cream, black and shining
silver and, lastly, white, aquamarine and kiwi green. This paper looks
precious with Arbor Trail or modern with Sweet Grass.
POM POM PLAY
An amusing collection of whimsical Waverly flowers adorn this novelty
wallcovering. The variety of circular posies and curlicue leaves are
printed in just two hues for contrast. Some are quietly neutral while
others are brilliantly colored; for example: choose ecru or bright
persimmon with pure white or any of four others. Use with Sweet Grass
or Framework in matching shades.
BELLISIMA VINE
Make-believe posies form a delicate design suitable for a fairytale
cottage or present day home. Miniature multicolored flowers and
rambling green vines paint a picture of a summer garden. Pair it with
Lovely Lattice or Sweet Grass in cream, blues, tans and yellow/green or
white, purples, ecru and spring green or choose from three other lovely
selections to complete your Waverly world project.
GLITZ
The natural, organic look of grass cloth gets a touch of sophistication
when gleaming metal threads appear among the fibers. The raised
inks and horizontal sheen create a lovely subtle texture that makes
this wallcovering look like the real thing. You have eight color choices
including amethyst, silver streak and lilac or lime green, aquamarine, and
cream. Mix and match with Santa Maria or Bedazzled.
ARBOR TRAIL
With a delicate appearance, this small and dainty pattern consists of
meandering vines with tender little leaves. Perfect in a small space or
wherever you want a quiet design, this trailing motif comes in five serene
color ways including chambray blue and white or purple lilac with cream.
Wed with Chantal for a whimsical partnership or with Highwire Stripe for
a more traditional pairing.
ESSENCE
This damask, with medallions just seven inches high, proves the saying
“Good things come in small packages”. The modest sized, but beautifully
ornate design is tightly formed nearly concealing the contrasting
background. Some versions feature metallic or pearlescent inks for a
dazzling effect. There are seven choices such as white with silvered pearl
or dark stone grey with glittering black that look handsome with Glitz or
Arbor Trail in appropriate shades.
STARRY EYED
In a unique pattern, a variety of geometric shapes overlap to form
star-centered floral designs. The overall motif is printed in just two
contrasting colors, permitting the complex lines to stand out on the solid
background. Available in five soft palettes, among them is pale celery
green with cream or beige with white. Use this modern wallcovering
along with Arbor Trail or A New Leaf for a fresh clean look.
