THE PRODUCTION AND ITS ORIGINAL CLO LEAD ARE BACK!
This Summer Season-opening production marks the first time since 1998 that Pittsburgh CLO has staged Joseph
and also welcomes back the actor who put his unique stamp on that role – DAVID OSMOND. A member of the
world-famous Osmond family, David served as the understudy to his uncle Donny during various National Tours
from 1992-97 and then performed as Joseph in a National Tour produced by Pittsburgh CLO. He’s also fresh off
an appearance on “American Idol.”
Pittsburgh native ready for his role as
a rockin’ Pharaoh
PETER MATTHEW SMITH makes his
Pittsburgh CLO debut, although he is recognizable to local audiences
thanks to his numerous Pittsburgh Musical Theater and Point Park
University Playhouse credits. A Sewickley native and Point Park
alumnus, he has performed on Broadway in Cry Baby, Fiddler on
the Roof, Hairspray, RENT and Mamma Mia.

SHOSHANA BEAN makes
her Pittsburgh CLO debut after

been a back-up singer for
superstars such as Whitney
Houston, Destiny’s Child, Usher,
’N Sync, Ray Charles, Britney
Spears and Michael Jackson.
Did you know?
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat features

n 1985, Les Misérables began its journey into musical theater history. The show opened in London on
October 8, 1985, and was an instant hit with audiences. The entire run was sold out and moved to the West
End two months later. It is currently the longest running show in West End history. In 1986, Les Misérables
crossed the pond, premiering at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, prior to its New York debut. It
opened on Broadway on March 12, 1987, and went on to win 8 Tony® Awards.

Now, for the first time, Pittsburgh CLO audiences will be treated to a locally-staged
production featuring musical theater greats reprising their Broadway roles.
CLO favorite ROBERT CUCCIOLI stars as Javert, the role that marked his Broadway
debut. Mr. Cuccioli received a Tony®nomination for his performance in the title role of
Jekyll and Hyde and is best known to Pittsburgh audiences as the leading man in five
recent CLO productions. He’s joined by FRED INKLEY as Jean Valjean. Mr. Inkley is
making his CLO debut, but is no stranger to the role. He
starred as Jean Valjean in the Broadway and National
Touring productions of Les Misérables. JACQUELYN
PIRO DONOVAN returns to the CLO Stage to reprise her
Broadway performance as Fantine. She also appeared on
Broadway in Miss Saigon and has performed in five
Pittsburgh CLO productions.
