White hot celebration
IT was one of the real estate industry’s
biggest awards nights with Ray White
celebrating its Queensland staff and their
achievements.
Following on from its success in the 2011
awards, the Surfers Paradise office was again
named Top Residential Office – Settled
Commissions, with agent Michael Willems (Surfers Paradise) taking out the Top
Performer – Settled Commissions number
one spot.
Michelle McLeod from Ray White Toowong was named Salesperson of the Year, with
the award topping off an exciting 2012 so far.
Mrs McLeod was also recently awarded the
2012 REIQ Residential Salesperson of the
Year and said the double recognition was an
honour.
“To be held in such high regard among my
peers is very humbling,” she said.
“I know it is recognition for not only the
last year but for the culmination of the 15
years I have been laying the foundations
of my career and aiming to provide all my
clients with ‘six star service’.”
The Ray White New Farm office had a
successful night with Haesley Cush named
Principal of the Year and Mary McLean Best
New Talent - Administration.
Mr Cush said he worked to create a work
atmosphere that was welcoming for staff, as
well as clients.
“You are really only as strong as the team
around you and I work to create the environment I like and hope everyone likes to work
in as well,” he said.
Ray White New Farm agent Matt
Lancashire was awarded The Courier-Mail
Excellence in Print Media, Excellence in
Marketing – Property Profile and also ranked
number two for sales in Queensland.
Mr Lancashire jumped from number seven
in 2011 to number two on the Individual
– Settled Commissions list and said the result
was due to hard work.
“It’s been a big year and my team and I
have worked really hard to do the best for
our clients,” he said.
“One thing we did was listened to what our
clients wanted and we had to work that little
bit harder.”
Other standout winners on the night were
Matthew Abboud (Paddington) for Excellence in Marketing – Personal Profile, Paul
Stirling for the Max White Award and Colin
Walsh (CBD Residential) for Excellence in
Auction – Salesperson.
