PROSSER HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1959
50TH YEAR REUNION
Remember the movies at the Princess Theater, sodas at Towers Drug, throwing water balloons on Halloween,
swimming in the Columbia River, water skiing on the Yakima? Remember Sock Hops and hula hoops, eating
lunch downtown at Ford’s Grille and riding the dusty school buses?
It is difficult to believe all of that was more than fifty years ago. If you haven’t been to a PHS Class of 1959
reunion, this is the year to attend. A ‘59ers reunion is like seeing family again. Your reunion committee has
organized casual, comfortable events for all to enjoy. We sure hope you can come, we all want to see you!!

Your PHS classmates want to hear from you about what you are up to these days. Please tell us what you have done
since graduation. Please keep it to approximately 300 words or less. Photos of you at the reunion will be added. If you
cannot attend the reunion, please enclose a (somewhat) current photo with your biography, preferably send a digital
picture and biography by e-mail. All biographies will be compiled and included in a special commemorative reunion book
which will be sent to you when it is completed after the reunion.

Karen is creating a DVD of memories of our school years. If you have pictures, please send them to me. If you can scan
them and send by e-mail, that would be great, or if not, send by regular mail, I will get them back to you as soon as
possible. I already have a good collection of our class pictures from 4th grade on - a First grade class picture would be
great, also Whitstran pictures. Any snapshots would be the best. Don't worry if they are black and white or faded - I can
usually fix them. If only a portion of the picture is good - send it anyway.
