Tips to help you prevent false alarms: User Guide for Ademco Vista 20 BEFORE LEAVING THE PROPERTY Secure all windows and doors confine pets to designated rooms by keeping doors shut Fluent Key Strokes Must Be Used In All Procedures Listed Below ARMING • • • • PIN + AWAY(2) or # + 2 Will arm with Entry/Exit delay PIN + STAY(3) or # + 3 Partial Zones programmed by Tech willl arm with Entry/Exit delay PIN + INSTANT(7) Perimeter Armed with Exit delay, NO Entry Delay PIN + MAXIMUM(4) Will arm without Entry/Exit delay AT NIGHT Keep windows and doors shut in rooms which are being protected by sensors confine pets to designated rooms DISARMING • PIN + OFF(1) RESETTING CODEPAD • PIN + OFF(1) BYPASSING/ ISOLATING • • PIN + BYPASS(6), then the Zone number required i.e. 01, 04, 18 etc. When all zones have been selected the display will read through the zones one by one, to confirm. Display will advise (DISARMED BYPASS READY TO ARM) CHANGING CODES • Please See Your Team Leader TESTING COMMUNICATIONS • • PIN + TEST(5) This will send a test signal after the siren has sounded for 2 seconds PIN + OFF(1) This will exit panel out of Test mode and send a test restore signal (above is for missed tests) TROUBLE / FAULT INDICATORS • Press the star button (*) The Faulted Zone/s will be displayed. ` POF AND BOF INDICATORS • • POF - Top right hand corner of keypad will have letters AC for power on. NO AC for no power BOF - Right hand side of screen on keypad will have letters BAT for low system battery ENSURE Sensors are not obstructed by furniture or suspended objects eg. Festive/party decorations detectors are free of insects and cobwebs TAKE CARE Protect sensors when decorating or doing building work.
