2013 Opportunity Knox Promo Kit
Reaching the Fort Knox Market
“Opportunity Knox” is one of the few ways of getting your advertising message in front of the Soldiers, Families, Retirees
and Civilian employees that are assigned or work at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Put your targeted information directly in the hands of Fort Knox’s Soldiers Families, area Retirees and the evergrowing
Civilian employees.
On-post advertising is extremely limited and exposure through “Opportunity Knox” has a high degree of visibility to a
strongly sought after market.
Editorial Content
Fort Knox MWR’s “Opportunity Knox” features articles of interest to the Soldier and their Families. The range of topics
include:“One tank car trips”, “Adjusting to life back in the states”, “Automotive purchase”, “On-post activities” plus a
monthly calender of events for on post and the Recreation & Leisure Guide.
Fort Knox MWR’s “Opportunity Knox” uses the articles to showcase the various MWR facilities and services that are
available to the Soldier and Family. It is a vital voice of information and activities that can not be found elsewhere.
Distribution
The 15,000 copies of the monthly publication are direct mailed to all Military Family mailboxes on-post and in a 20-mile radius,
distributed in more than 40 racks on-post at MWR facilities and off-post at area Kroger stores, Wendy’s, EW James grocery store,
Best Buy, Panera Bread, and other retail locations, included in the Chambers of Commerce welcome packets and info kits,
featured in rooms at several local inns and hotels.
