(4) BUDDY HOLLY CENTER, 1801 Crickets Ave.
Girls on Film is a traveling exhibition from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, made possible through generous support of the CH Foundation,
features over 40 images by photographer Anastasia Pantsios, offering a glimpse into the evolution of women in rock and roll and includes
images of some of the most influential women in the music industry.
An Introduction: Images by L. David Pike, an exhibition that serves as an introduction to the artwork of L. David Pike. Pike got his start in
photography at a young age by using his grandmother’s box camera to capture black and white photographs of family members. His craft
has progressed to creating images digitally. Pike describes his artwork as “writing with light” that he hopes will illustrate a common
denominator of shared emotions.
Zoe Carter CD Release Party 6:30-8:30: Winner of the 2015 Fall Bluelight Singer/Songwriter Contest, Zoe Carter will unveil her debut CD in
the Meadows Courtyard. CD’s will be available for purchase.

Dean, Carol Flueckiger, Tina Fuentes, B.C. Gilbert, Lynwood Kreneck, Chad Plunket, Catherine Prose, Ashton Thornhill, Sara Waters, James
Watkins, and Jonathan Whitfill. Early regional artists Peter Hurd, Henriette Wyeth, Manuel Acosta, John Meigs and Luis Jimenez. Also
featuring original works on paper by Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso.

• TTU School of Art Satellite Gallery: will feature Passage: The Transference of Place, an exhibition of various mediums that utilize the act of
transferring by Carolina Arellanos, Alberto Careaga, Amy Kim, Kristy Kristinek, Kristen Swartz, and Matthew Wright. Curated by Ashley Busy
and Liv Johnson.

(9) GLASSYALLEY ART STUDIO AND GALLERY, 1940 Texas Ave. will feature Cat Boucher - photography, Rick Kincheloe - ceramic sculpture,
Susan Lilly - glass garden, Cliff Miller - woodwork, Liz Park – photography, Pauline Mills - glass and acrylics, and Elizabeth Sandlin – jewelry.
There will be live music by Texas Downunder as well as the Cheese Chick’s food truck.

• Christine DeVitt Exhibition Hall will feature Joey Brock, Beyond the Looking Glass. Photography, collage, neon light and the exploration of
materials abstracted and deconstructed paved the way to travel through this conceptual show of new media.
• Helen Devitt Jones Studio Gallery will feature Terry Morrow, A Circle of Conversations through Drawing. Morrow uses a traditional venue to
create interesting, plausible narratives, inviting the viewer to consider the absurdities we see within the frame, and in our own world as well.
• John F. Lott Gallery will feature Flying Saucers Are Real by Bruce Lee Webb, a special group of paintings on vintage depression era scrapbooks, old hotel/Pharmacists ledgers, and antique U.S. Mail bags.
• Martin McDonald Gallery will feature Gregory T. Davis, Impermanence of Knowledge. Davis is an artist living and working in Lexington, KY.
• Helen Devitt Jones Clay Studio: putting dirt to work.
• LHUCA Graffiti Building will feature Madeline Windham: 2014-2016. Madeline is a Lubbock High School Senior displaying her work from
the past two years.
• LHUCA Icehouse Gallery will feature Out of Canon, a series of photographs by Nabi Kamyabi of people she has seen during her travels
around the U.S.

(22) LUBBOCK MUNICIPAL GARDEN AND ARTS CENTER, 4215 University Ave. will feature The World of Special Needs Artists, an exhibit of
works by special needs art students of Henry Salley.

(7) MCPHERSON CELLARS, 1615 Texas Ave will feature Karinda Condray - watercolor. Born and raised in Lubbock, Karinda first started
painting with oils. In recent years, she began experimenting with watercolors and that quickly turned into a passion. Sally McCoy - multimedia. Sally has a life-long love of art. While primarily self-taught, she studied for several years at Texas Tech. Now an empty nester, Sally has
been able to dedicate more time to her art, focusing on portraiture and nature.

(23) MUSEUM OF TEXAS TECH, 3301 4th St. will feature The Remnant Trust Inc., a new partnership between Texas Tech University and The
Remnant Trust, Inc. brings a collection of original, first edition, and rare early written works to display at the Museum. How the Weather Works:
Our Place Between the Sun and a Storm is an exhibit funded by the National Science Foundation that tells the story of our weather. The
Planetarium will feature Cowboy Astronomer at 5:30pm, Wildest Weather at 6:30pm and Laser Michael Jackson at 7:30pm. Also at 6:30 pm,
Raider Red’s Game Day Rules, come celebrate the start of Texas Tech Football season with a bedtime story and craft all about the big game.

(29) STAR BOOKS & COMICS DOWNTOWN (NEW!), 916 16th St. will feature Super Canvas, an exhibit of acrylic and spray paint works by
Mike Corrales. Originally from San Antonio, Mike is a self-taught artist whose styles include graffiti, comic book illustration, and pop art, with
a focus in acrylics and spray paints. He considers his work to be a reflection of his own big kid-like character.

(6) TORNADO GALLERY, 1822 Buddy Holly Ave, will feature Joe Clifford – mixed media, masaics, prints, and Tony Greer – plasma and neon.
