Brea Friends Campus
Brea Friends held their annual
Fall Festival a few Fridays
back, and had a great turn out!
This fun event included game
booths, food, face painting, bouncers, and more. It’s a
time for students, parents, and staff to have fun together!
Red Ribbon Week Brea Friends & La Mirada Red Ribbon Week was recently celebrated on both campuses. It’s a nationwide prevention and awareness campaign to help children stay away from drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and violence. Our students dressed up for spirit days and were taught by their teachers and guest speakers from the community (such as police officers and fire fighters) age‐appropriate information to help keep them safe and making good choices! La Mirada Christmas Program •
Friday, December 6th @ 7PM “The Mystery of the Manger, It’s the Gospel Truth!” is a fun show that centers around an investigative reporter who wants the facts…just the facts...about Christ’s birth. A children’s choir rehearsing for their pageant gives her the answers through songs such as “Like the Wise Men” and “The Gospel Truth”. Our student dancers, musicians, singers and actors are all working hard in preparation for this special evening of sharing the gospel message through performing. Performed at La Mirada Performing Arts Theatre. Theatre doors open at 6:30 PM. Heights

Each year in September, the La Habra Rotary Club recognizes one outstanding student from each of the three local high schools. Students are selected for this distinction on the basis of academic achievement, leadership and partici‐
pation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of educational and career goals, and recommendation from the student’s high school. 2 Timothy 3:15
