Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park is set within 12
acres of wild woodland at the Southern end of Lake
Windermere in the Lake District National Park, within
three miles distance to the historic town of Cartmel,
famous for its sticky toffee pudding, racecourse and
the Cartmel Priory.
The Park offers an excellent location for those with a love
of the outdoors, within easy reach of many walking and
cycling routes, local special events/festivals and water
based activities on Windermere. There is a range of self
catering properties on the Park including Woodlands
Cottage, Fellside Lodge and one or two bedroom
properties, with options for weekly or short stay holidays.
HOW TO FIND US
Newby Bridge is located near jct 36, M6.
From the North and South, exit the M6 at Junction
36 and follow signs for Barrow and Newby Bridge
along the A590. Before entering Newby Bridge,
take a left turn before the Petrol Station, signposted
Canny Hill and brown sign for Newby Bridge
Caravan Country Park. The Park entrance is
approximately 200 yards on the right.

This Five Star Visit England Park is set within 12 acres of
wild woodland. As you enter the Park along the driveway,
you will find the self catering properties and private holiday
homes tucked away and almost hidden amongst the trees.
Pets are welcome in some of our self catering properties,
please enquire on booking.
The Reception
Reception is located to the right as you enter the Park.
Open daily throughout the main season, with information on
local things to do, points of interest and Holiday Home sales.
Our Facilities
Excellent facilities onsite include a laundry room with washing
machine, tumble dryers, drying cabinets, iron. Our information room
has a free wi-if hot spot, charging point, extensive local area
information, games and book exchange facility. Nearby shop/garage is
accessed a short walk from the Park. There is a public footpath through
the Park and easy access to local walking/cycling routes.

Self Catering Holidays
We have a selection of self catering properties available for seven
night stays (please note start day is either Friday or Saturday
dependant on property) and short break options. Fellside Lodge and
Woodlands Cottage have private gardens with lockable storage and
sleep up to 4 persons. Langdale and Winster are premier two
bedroom caravans with private patio areas. Ashness, Kentmere and
Coniston are two bedroomed properties with patio areas, these
properties are available for seven night ( Saturday to Saturday) or
short stays ( Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday). Wasdale is
a one bedroom property with private patio area. Dogs are welcome
in some of our properties, please confirm at time of booking.
Linen and towels are included in the price of hire. A refundable
housekeeping deposit is required.

Holiday Homes
Thinking of staying a little longer? The Park provides the perfect
location to own a private Holiday Home. If you planning a visit to
one of our self catering properties, take advantage of our “try before
you buy” offer, we will refund the cost of your short break when you
complete the purchase on a new Holiday Home. All pitches are
fully serviced. For details of pitch availability, please contact the
resident managers. Holiday Home season is from March to January.
