Weddings at Thornbridge Hall
Congratulations on your forthcoming Wedding.
We are delighted that you are considering Thornbridge Hall as the
perfect venue for your special day.
Thornbridge Hall is a private stately home, which is not open to the
public. It is a unique venue, available on an exclusive use basis for you
to create your own bespoke wedding.
Set in 100 acres of stunning, privately owned parkland, in the heart of
the Peak District National Park, Thornbridge Hall is a venue with an
ambience that will make your wedding an unforgettable occasion.
There are breathtaking views from every aspect of the 12 acres of
formal gardens which include the Italian Garden, Water Garden &
South Terraced Lawns, providing the perfect setting for drinks
receptions & photographs.
The magnificent Great Hall & the beautiful Music Room are both
licensed for civil ceremonies. The Great Hall can accommodate 120
guests & the Music Room 50 guests.
The stunning Carriage House, with magnificent Ballroom & atmospheric
underground Bar provides the perfect venue for your wedding
reception, & can seat up to 180 guests for formal dining.
If you wish to increase the number of guests to up to 260 for formal
dining, this can be achieved with the addition of a temporary marquee,
erected in the Carriage House Courtyard. Alternatively, for larger guest
numbers, a marquee could be sited in the gardens.
An overall impression of the magnificent venue can be seen from our show
reel CD which is available on thornbridgehall.co.uk. The full impact can only
be appreciated by viewing & we would be pleased to make an appointment
for you to visit us between 9.00 a.m. & 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
