welcome
Dear Race Fans,
As we prepare for the spring race weekend at Dover International
Speedway, we’re happy to unveil a few changes we’ve made to the structure
of race weekend that should enhance your enjoyment.
No update will be more noticeable this weekend than the change to
move NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying back to Friday afternoon. Not
only does this alter the face of a Dover race weekend, it serves as a fantastic
kickoff to three days of action and answers a request our fans have made to
place qualifying back on Friday.
With the schedule change, two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice
sessions have been added to Saturday’s lineup, which serves two positive
purposes. First, it means value is added to both Friday and Saturday race tickets, with more exciting on-track
activity from the top drivers in the sport. Second, the post-qualifying practice sessions will afford teams the
opportunity to perfect their setups for Sunday’s race, creating a more exciting, competitive event for the fans.
Of course, the Cup drivers aren’t the only ones entertaining the fans all weekend, as the May 31 “Lucas Oil
200” NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and June 1 “5-hour ENERGY 200” NASCAR Nationwide
Series race are set for Friday and Saturday, respectively.
As always, there is quite a bit going on outside the track on race weekend. As we announce everything over
the next few months, your best resources to keep up with all fan activities and amenities are DoverSpeedway.com,
as well as Facebook.com/DoverInternationalSpeedway and on Twitter at @Monstermile.
Thank you again for joining us as we enter our 45th year of racing at Dover and we hope you enjoy your
weekend!
Sincerely,
Denis McGlynn
President & CEO

TICKET INFORMATION
2014 Ticket Renewals
Beginning with 2014 ticket renewals, Dover is adjusting its schedule to make renewal deadlines easier for
fans. Like always, customers who purchase a permanent reserved seat for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
race are provided with the opportunity to renew that same seat location for the same race the following
year. Customers who purchase tickets to the June 2, 2013 event have until Nov. 21, 2013 to reserve their
same seat for the spring 2014 race. Lock in your seats by our Preferred Pricing deadline and you can save
up to $39 in some sections.
You can also still bring your payment with you to the event and put the deposit down to reserve your
same seats for 2014.
Ticket holders may renew any of the following ways:
• Online at DoverSpeedway.com
• Fax to 302-672-0100
• Mail to Dover International Speedway, P.O. Box 843, Dover, DE 19903-0843
• Stop by the Dover ticket office
• Call 800-441-7223 or 302-734-7223
Requests for a change in seat location are processed based on the date of your renewal payment.
Requests for relocation are only accepted with an accompanying deposit and must be in writing.
The earlier you pay your deposit, the better your chance of receiving your desired location! Because we
do not know who will be renewing or relocating, we cannot guarantee specific locations… BUT your
chances are far better than waiting until after the renewal period. Once all relocation requests have been
processed, a statement will be mailed to your home.
Junior Tickets (ages 14 and younger)
For just $10, juniors can come to a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and sit in sections 192-227 and
112-144, as well as rows 1-25 of section 110. For Friday and Saturday races, junior tickets are just $8
in all available grandstand sections. Junior tickets must be accompanied by the purchase of at least
one adult ticket.
Alcohol- and Tobacco-Free Sections
Dover International Speedway is again offering patrons the option of seven alcohol- and tobacco-free
seating sections in our grandstands for the Sunday, June 2 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. While we
permit smoking and drinking in most of our grandstands at the Monster Mile, we understand some of
our fans might want to get away from those things, so we’ve made these sections available. Seating is
available in all rows in sections 192 and 193; rows 1-30 in sections 131, 136 and 223; rows 1-25 in section
110; and rows 31-60 in section 128. Within these seven sections, junior tickets are only $10.
13
2013 TICKET PRICING
Dover International Speedway is pleased to announce the return of its three-tier pricing program for
the May 31-June 2, 2013, and Sept. 27-29, 2013 race weekends. The program offers the lowest prices to
customers that purchase their tickets the earliest. The pricing structure and deadlines for each pricing
tier are here:
Design-It-Yourself Payment Plan
With the return of the three-tier pricing program, the Monster Mile is again offering customers the
chance to pay for their tickets on their own schedule with the “Design-It-Yourself” payment plan. As long
as you purchase your tickets in the Preferred Pricing Period, and put down at least a 25 percent deposit,
you can pay off your account on your own schedule, paying what you want when you want. Junior pricing
for ages 14 and younger will also be back in 2013, offering $10 tickets for Sunday races with seating in all
four turns. That includes seven alcohol- and tobacco-free sections. Junior tickets for Friday and Saturday
races are just $8 in all available seating sections.
For more information or to purchase tickets, call 800-441-RACE or visit DoverSpeedway.com.

Transportation for Guests with Disabilities
A free golf cart shuttle is available to transport patrons with disabilities from all disabled Parking Lots throughout the facility to
the grandstand’s admission gates. Each disabled parking area has a sign designating the pickup area. Telephones are located at
all grandstand gates for your convenience to call for a pickup. Dial extension 6756. This shuttle begins at noon Friday, and 9 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday and Sunday, transportation temporaily stops at lap 350 (Sunday) and lap 150 (Saturday),
and resumes 30 minutes after the conclusion of the race for one (1) hour. You are not allowed to bring your own golf cart or
similar mode of transportation onto the property (this does not include electric convenience vehicles). While we would like to
transport everyone in your party, space and time is limited. We are only able to transport the patron with the disability and one
companion. Transportation for eligible riders will be limited to four (4) trips per day. To ensure that our guests with disabilities
receive a ride, we have enlisted law enforcement assistance and wristbands will be given to those in the disabled parking lots.
Please be patient. Volunteers transfer patrons as quickly and safely as possible.
Shuttle schedules are subject to change.

Sunday, June 2, 2013: General Parking is $10 (South, North, West, Lot 1, Lot 12 and Lot 13)

• All terrain vehicles, golf carts and motorized two-wheel bikes are not permitted to operate on Dover International Speedway property, except by authorized personnel.
Tailgating Guidelines
Dover International Speedway permits patrons to tailgate on property; however, there are a few simple rules we ask our great
fans to follow:
• Only bring to your tailgate what can fit in your vehicle. This includes items like portable grills, shade tents and other standard tailgating items.
• No vehicle extensions! To ensure that each fan enjoys their tailgate and space is equally distributed to our patrons, we ask that no extensions (i.e., trailers) be added to vehicles to carry extra items. This allows each customer a right to the space for
which they paid and helps make sure everyone in the lot is granted equal space to tailgate.
• Be neighborly! Tailgating is a community activity, so be courteous to your neighbor. It makes the experience that much more enjoyable for everyone.
