SPORTFISHING
The inside of the Provider is designed to help you
enjoy your day on the water. The lower cabin has
two large beds and a full head with a walk in
shower. The upper cabin has a large couch and
seating for up to eight people . There is a full galley
for your dining enjoyment. For those long trips to
the fishing grounds we have a flat screen Satellite
TV/DVD player and Sirius Ratio/CD player. Want
to get out of the sun. Come inside and relax. The
large windows make viewing marine life a breeze .
INSHORE TRIPS
Perfect for the group that wants to send a day on the
water but not venture far from shore. The action is
nonstop. Spend the morning tide casting poppers
and swimmers to large bluefish and striped bass.
We’ll have a little lunch on the slack. After lunch its
back to work so to speak. Only this time we will
change up to a little bottom fishing for black sea bass
and fluke.

The Provider is a custom built 42 foot Wesmac.
Equipped with the latest in safety equipment,
electronics and fishing tackle this boat is a fishing
machine. Captain Bob DeCosta has been fishing
the waters around nantucket for over 40 years.

Bluewater Sportfishing
FULL DAY SHARK TRIPS
Spend the day fishing for “JAWS” Departure time is
usually around 7:00AM the ride out is about 1 1/2 to 2
hours. Once on the fishing grounds a chum slick is set
up and thats when the fun begins. Large Blue Sharks,
Makos or Threshers are the target species. This
monster fishing at its best.

FULL DAY TUNA TRIPS
Our full day tuna trips are one of the
most exciting trips that you’ll ever fish.
Large schools of bait fish attract sea birds,
whales and big schools of bluefin Tuna.
The Tuna range in size from 30lbs to as
large as 900lbs. Trolling is the preferred
method of fishing however if the
opportunity presents itself we do cast to
the smaller fish. Departure's are early in
the morning so get a good nights sleep you
will need it!
2 DAY CANYON TRIPS
This is the trip for the serious fishermen. We leave the
dock early in the morning. The running time to the
canyons. is between 4.5 to 6 hours. Once there we troll
until dark. The catch may include Yellowfin Tuna,
Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and
both Blue and White Marlin. After dark we set up a drift
for Swordfish and Tuna. Then is back to the troll at first
light. We troll until noon or until the fish box is full which
ever comes first. Trip limited to four anglers.
