Environmental protection has been a focus at Sony DADC for many years. Since 1990, Sony DADC has achieved 54% less energy

annual CO2 emissions by 11,000 tonnes.
Additionally, Sony DADC has established a Green Partner Programme which implements eco standards that are more exacting
than those applied under current EU standards. The Green Partner Programme ensures that all components and materials used in
production by either Sony DADC itself or their contracted suppliers are tested to the highest standards of compliance. All Sony DADC
suppliers are required to participate in the programme and testing is provided via independent testing laboratories.

Format update
2010 was a strategically important year for 3D home entertainment with many content owners exploiting the potential of 3D Blu-ray
whilst the first 3D TV channels came to air across Europe. Leading industry analysts are predicting that 3D promises much for 2011.
Recently published Futuresource market intelligence indicates that the retail performance of 3D hardware for the home has been
developing at a healthy pace, bolstered by 3D TV prices falling by close to 40% in some cases. Year one adoption of 3D TV is running
at a far quicker rate in most territories than it did for high definition, so Futuresource Consulting claims.
Futuresource saw global sales of 3D TVs to exceed four million in 2010. Across Western Europe alone 1.2 million 3D TVs were sold,
rising to more than three million in 2011. In the U.S., more than five million 3D TVs will be sold this year. “The momentum is really
being carried on the back of the success of 3D at the cinema and the undoubted success of titles like Avatar,” stated Jim Bottoms.
“The CE industry is also aggressively promoting it to keep overall TV sales up. The boom resulting from the CRT to panel TV switch
is now just about over and therefore the industry is quick to get behind any new technology that will encourage the consumer to
upgrade and replace.”

Amongst our service portfolio, we have developed a fast-track authoring service, which minimises the time needed to create a
complete Blu-ray Disc project, in effect offering a ‘One-Stop-Shop’ solution. At the cutting edge of Blu-ray Disc Java implementation,
we have created a task force that is continually developing new BD Live enabled interactive features.
Movie Code – Additional revenue with zero returns and zero marketing overheads
Why only have one title per product? Increase revenue with additional, unlockable content on DVD! Part of the eBridge solution
portfolio, Movie Code is a proven and unique Sony DADC program available for sell-through and rental. As a rights holder, you
benefit from enabling impulse sales and being able to market your back catalogue, without having to worry about returns or marketing
overheads. Your customers will love the easy access to additional DVD content in TV resolution. They don’t need any internet

connection or wait to download content. Payments happen securely and conveniently via phone or text message service.
eBridge Digital Copy – one click to watch your favourite movies on-the-go
As well as at home on TV, today‘s consumers expect to watch movies anywhere and anytime. Digital Copy from eBridge comes
with PID, a unique electronic code, which enables the purchaser to copy the movie from DVD to a hard drive or mobile device at the
click of a mouse and not just after inconvenient typing in of serial codes. Whilst allowing content owners to monitor the success of
their digital copy releases, eBridge Digital Copy ensures maximum user convenience and significantly increases the Digital Copy
redemption and reduces support costs.
eBridge Digital Copy comes with eBridge Analytics, a Sony DADC solution to gain market feedback direct from customers. Each
disc automatically reports back a wealth of information about the consumer and his/her behaviour. In a short time, the publisher can
construct a sophisticated profile of the consumer base, understanding like never before how they interact with their movies and what
their preferences are within a diverse media driven world.
Home video companies such as Noble Entertainment, 2entertain or Sony Pictures Home Entertainment already utilize eBridge
Digital Copy.
Screen Pass – the reinvention of Digital Rights Management
For many years, Sony DADC has been leading the fight against video piracy. Through its ARccOS copy protection system, the
company has developed the industry’s leading Digital Rights Management solution. Over time, ARccOS has advanced and become
an elegant and sophisticated defence mechanism for content rights holders. Recognising how far this technology has evolved – and
also that today it addresses so many more needs, Sony DADC has re-launched the product portfolio under the Screen Pass brand
name.
In renaming its content security portfolio, Sony DADC has recognised the paradigm shift in features and functionality that it has
integrated within the system. Gone are the days when its only consideration was protection – today, Screen Pass provides content
owners and publishers with the ability to generate significant new revenue streams from people previously regarded as one of their
biggest threats.
Sony DADC’s Screen Pass is applicable to a number of different market areas, including Blu-ray Disc, DVD, marketing solutions and
online services.
Digipak – Finishing on Demand solution
When first developed, Digipak represented a breakthrough in CD and DVD packaging solutions. It offered more packaging, folding
and varnishing options, it was relatively slimline, and so took up less storage space and valuable shelf-space within stores. However,
Digipak is relatively costly for small volume runs. Reordering has a significantly longer turnaround and there are prohibitive cost
implications if you overstock to cater for reorders but then stock becomes obsolete.
To overcome these issues, we have introduced a Digipak Finishing on Demand Service. This service provides a number of advantages
over traditional Digipak as you only need to order the cardboard insert and booklets. Based on a standard design, reordering takes
just one day to fulfil and the customer does not have to pay for any trays not used. Sony DADC offers free storage of the cardboard
inserts and booklets for up to six months.
Bend-it Green – the eco-friendly packaging line
We have developed a range of sustainable and low environmental impact product solutions to meet our customers’ needs. Bend-it
Green is easy to use (bend out disc holder), it contains no plastic and provides carbon footprint savings of more than 25% compared
to Digipak. It is full-surface printable, cost efficient and easy to recycle as there is no separation of components. Bend-it Green is
available in various CD and DVD options with multiple pages (including 4pp, 6pp, 8pp) and an additional booklet insertion is possible

in sleeve, slot, pocket or glued booklet form.
So effective has this project been in reducing the carbon footprint of an album, that it has been recognised by Julie’s Bicycle, a
music industry-led organisation set up to recognise commitment to reducing green house gas emissions and promote environmental
sustainability. The BRIT Awards Album 2009 using Bend-it Green is the first of its kind to be awarded the Industry Green Standard for
CD packaging, branded as the Music Industry Green Mark.
Special Packaging Sourcing from China - Cost savings up to 50%
Products manufactured in China are being exported worldwide – from toys to garments, Chinese manufacturing skills are diverse and
high quality. Also, abundant supplies of skilled labour means that they can offer some of the shortest turnaround times for new product
development. An area where Chinese suppliers have excellent knowledge and experience is specialised packaging products. These
range from extruded plastic to metal, wood and rigid board materials.
With the strategy of tapping into these resources, Sony DADC has established dedicated purchasing teams in Shanghai, Hong Kong
and Shenzen. Through these teams, the company can source local Chinese suppliers and build close relationships with the main
special packaging facilities.
Already, Sony DADC has completed a number of titles with special packaging sourced from China. The results have exceeded
expectations – on top of the high quality and environmental considerations, the Euro–Chinese partnership has yielded cost savings
of up to 50% for Sony DADC’s customers.
Combined with our cost-effective assembly services offered from Pilsen, Czech Republic, China sourcing becomes a ground-breaking
value proposition for our customers to make their product stand out of the shelf, attracting both gifters and collectors. The Pilsen
service center stands for 17,000 square metres of special packaging, storage and distribution services – from the heart of Central
Europe to all major Entertainment markets.

Hologram – protection against counterfeiting
Unique serialisation for tracking and maximum protection
Each year, the customs authorities of the EU seize about 180 million faked products. CD/DVD has been the most counterfeited
product category with 44% followed by cigarettes (23%) and clothing and accessoires (10%).
Developed a new security hologram Sony DADC supports customs officers and investigators to identify counterfeited products
on the spot. This is not a commercially available metal shimmering hologram, which can already be copied. Sony DADC uses
a patented laser technology that writes up to 200 3D animated images in the hologram. In addition, in each hologram can be a
unique code that flashes at a defined angle.
Optionally patented forensic markers are in the hologram integrated, which can be detected by a special hand-held device. If
required, we are glad to set up an online and mobile authentication of the Hologram-ID for any customer. This provides highest
security and marketing data, which enables a loyalty scheme for end-users too.
Applied these security stickers already for our own products we are glad to offer this new technology to our costumers as well

Sony DADC provides a comprehensive and cost effective service for market player testing of Blu-ray and DVD sample
discs prior to title approval for mass replication. The primary focus of this testing is the content of the discs and assurance
of product compliance with a representative share of available Blu-ray Video/DVD Video players in the market.

PDF
PDF file setup including a first data check for new releases is free of charge, providing that data is delivered as a
composite PDF, built according to our specifications and that no other modifications are required. If corrections or an
additional incoming inspection are needed please refer to 1.4. Print ready PDFs include correct overprint settings.
These settings will be used exactly like defined in the supplied PDFs without any feedback. If you’re unsure about these
settings, then please deactivate them in your graphic program. Please pass this information on to your graphic designer.
A guideline for correct PDF production can be found along with our specifications at http://www.sonydadc.com/graphic.

Blu-ray Disc was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (High-Def), as well as
storing large amounts of data.
The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer
disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. This extra capacity combined with the use of advanced video and audio codecs will
offer consumers an unprecedented High-Def experience.

Blu-ray is currently supported by more than 200 of the world‘s leading consumer electronics, personal computer, recording
media, video game and music companies. The format also has support from all major movie studios as a successor to
today‘s DVD format.
Due to the huge capacity of up to 50GB, the Blu-ray dual layer disc format allows for more than just a movie to be stored
in the absolute best High Definition quality. Taking content owners beyond anything ever experienced, the format also
offers room for additional extras, such as making of and special features in High Definition quality as well. There‘s no need
to pack additional discs to store these bonus materials, therefore eliminating costs for you and simplifying the end user’s
entertainment experience. Depending on the encoding method, there is room for more than five hours of the highest High
Definition quality video. Blu-ray Disc also provides as many as 7.1 channels of native, uncompressed surround sound for
crystal-clear audio entertainment.

DVD, which stands for Digital Versatile Disc, is essentially an optical disc that can reach a capacity of up to 24 times the
capacity of a CD-ROM and encompasses pre-recorded read-only discs like DVD-Video, DVD-ROM, DVD Audio, SACD, as
well as recordable formats like DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD+RW, and DVD-RW. For more applications, a DVD can store full
length movies in a high-quality digital video with surround sound in several languages and a wide range of interactivity, as
well as subtitles.
A DVD consists of two halves, where each half disc is 0.6 mm thick, holding one or two layers of information. The DVD
format provides multiple configurations or data layers. Each layer provides additional data capacity.

The new ‘Finishing on Demand’ is a special offer from Sony DADC which gives you the option of quick digipak orders at
reduced unit cost.
Sony DADC order Digipaks and Booklets to a stock level discussed and agreed with customers. Digipaks are then printed
and delivered into Sony DADC without trays and stored ready for immediate assembly, reducing lead time and cost on
orders.

A large and growing audience is consuming video titles for free on both DVD and Blu-ray by illegitimately copying, ripping
and downloading.
This is a serious concern to content owners everywhere, but when viewed in a different way, the piracy issue actually
represents a huge, untapped market. These viewers are expressing interest in content and if guided and persuaded in the
right ways, they can become valuable paying consumers.
Screen Pass is the most effective and most frequently updated disc-based anti-piracy solution on the market today. By
taking a novel approach to the piracy issue, Screen Pass allows content owners to capitalize on piracy and turn would-be
pirates into legitimate consumers.
As opposed to traditional anti-rip technologies, Screen Pass for Blu-ray allows ripping tools to make copies of protected
discs, but then disrupts the playback on the illegal copies in ways that turn the pirated versions into marketing
opportunities for additional legitimate sales.
Screen Pass is applied to the title during the authoring stage, allowing for a seamless manufacturing process with only
up to one day additional turn time needed during replication. In addition, stringent compatibility testing ensures that each

13. eBridge Digital Copy with PID
Digital Copy allows the buyers of your DVD or Blu-ray Disc to transfer the movie as a DRM protected file on their PC or
laptop. A special MP4 version for mobile devices such as Blackberry, iPhone, PSP etc. expands flexible film consumption
on-the-go.
 CLEVER. During replication a unique serial number is assigned to every single disc. This serial number is applied
on the data surface of the disc and works like an unlock voucher – the consumer does not have to insert an unlock
code.
 SAFE. A DRM server controls the unlocking of the WMV video files. Each disc only allows a limited number of
activations. This number is defined by the publisher.

Sourcing artwork components through Sony DADC has the following advantages:

17.1. Component handling
Please note that mastertapes (CD-R, Exabytes etc....) will be scrapped after 3 months (from the date the order is placed).
For further information, please view the mastertape agreement provided by Customer Service.
Artwork- and labelfilms without a re-order in the past 2 years will either be scrapped or returned (at customer request and
expense).
17.2. Component identification
For each order it is necessary to insert an alphanumeric and unique catalogue number on each component such as
labelprint, artwork parts and the input media itself.
The letter size has to be of at least 6pt. and the catalogue number has to be clearly legible on the disc and printwork parts.
17.3. IPR (Intellectual Property Rights)
1. IPR Form ( Intellectual Property Rights )
In order to facilitate a smooth order handling without causing any delays we ask to support our
Customer Service by correctly completing the IPR form incl. copy of licence in case you are not the content owner.

2. Mechanical Rights
To avoid any delay in delivery, please ensure that the mechanical rights clearance for audio tracks
is presented at the time of ordering (via mechanical rights permission or your contract). For your

Sony DADC and the customer agree that if raw material prices (polystyrene, polypropylene, polycarbonate) increase more
than 10% of the published index levels as of March 2011 a surcharge may be introduced accordingly.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Sony DADC Austria AG, A-5081 Anif, Sonystrasse 20
(1)
Preamble
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the General Terms and Conditions of Sony DADC Austria
AG (hereinafter referred to as ”Sony DADC”) shall form an integral part of all quotations and
purchase contracts. Customer’s purchasing conditions differing from these General Terms &
Conditions shall be of no effect.
(2)
Terms of Sale
(2.1.)
Quotation and Price
Unless otherwise agreed, the prices are understood net ex Supplier’s domicile in A-5081
Anif, Sonystrasse 20, exclusive of freight and without any discount. The prices of the last
quotation made by Sony DADC shall apply.
(2.2.)
Order and Order Acknowledgement
(2.2.1.) For each product-type minimum order quantities exist which are part of Sony DADC’s Customer Manual for the specific product.
(2.2.2.) All orders from Customer to Sony DADC must be in writing, and shall be considered accepted if confirmed in writing by Sony DADC. Agreements, if any, with agents and/or representatives and other agreements with Customers including legally binding promises or deviations
from the general terms and conditions will not be valid unless also accepted in writing by
Sony DADC.
(2.3.)
Quantity to be delivered
The quantity to be delivered shall be determined by Sony DADC’s order acknowledgement
in writing. Unless otherwise agreed the Customer agrees to accept production-related variations in the quantity to be delivered of more or less than 5% per title ordered. For orders of
1,000 units or less per title, the Customer shall accept production-related deviations of up to
100 units, which will be charged in the invoice.
(3)
Delivery Time
(3.1.)
The delivery period agreed shall commence as soon as Sony DADC has received from the
Customer all components required according to Sony DADC’s specification. Delivery shall
be considered to have been made in time if the goods ordered have left the factory in A-5081
Anif or A-5303 Thalgau prior to expiration of the period of delivery.
(3.2.)
Delivery periods and delivery dates shall be understood to be without engagement.
(3.3.)
Sony DADC shall have the right to make part deliveries and advance deliveries. A cancellation of orders by the Customer, although it might be legitimate and following an extension of
the delivery period, shall not apply to part deliveries or advance deliveries made before.
(4)
Place of Fulfilment and Passage of Risk
(4.1.)
The place of fulfilment and passage of risk for all deliveries shall be the factory of Sony DADC
in A-5081 Anif or A-5303 Thalgau, or a distribution warehouse separately specified by Sony
DADC.
(4.2.)
The risk in respect to the goods delivered shall pass to Customer at the time they are
delivered to the carrier. This also applies to part deliveries.
(4.3.)
Except as otherwise provided herein, shipment and method of shipment shall be exclusively
determined by Sony DADC. Sony DADC shall arrange for the transport and shall pay the
cost of transport packing as well as the cost of usual transport insurance for an insurance
value up to the amount of the relevant Sony DADC invoice. Other expenses, e.g. expenses
for specific packing, extra cost for individual consignments, freight charges, etc. shall be for
exclusive account of Customer. The Customer shall have to pay all customs duties, sales
taxes, border expenses etc. even if the order for transport has been given by Sony DADC.
(4.4.)
In the event of delay of shipment caused by circumstances within the responsibility of Customer, all risks including the risk of accidental loss shall pass to the Customer at the time Sony
DADC gives notice that the goods are ready for collection, i.e. at the time such notice is sent
by Sony DADC. In the event of delay caused by circumstances within the responsiblity of
Customer, the Customer will be charged storage cost of at least 5% per month of the gross
invoice value, beginning at the time Sony DADC has given notice that the goods are ready
for shipment.
(5)
Invoices and Terms of Payment
(5.1.)
The prices agreed are understood ex Sony DADC factory in A-5081 Anif/Austria, exclusive
of sales tax (VAT). All payments shall have to be made in cash, free of charges and without
deductions. Enforcement of counterclaims by setoff or by exercise of retention rights by the
Customer shall be excluded, provided such exclusion is permitted by the laws in vigor.
(5.2.)
Payments shall not be considered to discharge the debtor unless made into Sony DADC’s
banking account, except as otherwise agreed (e.g. payment by cheque).
(5.3.)
All payments shall be first counted against the expenses (dunning expenses, legal expense),
then against interest accrued, and finally against the capital, i.e. against the oldest outstanding debt. Cheques and bills of exchange shall be accepted upon special agreement only,
and merely on account of payment, not in lieu of payment. Cheques and bills of exchange
shall be considered payment upon encashment, at the value date on which they have been
credited to Sony DADC by the bank. Sony DADC shall have the right to refuse, without
showing cause, any payment offered by cheques or bills of exchange.
(5.4.)
Unless otherwise agreed, all invoices issued by Sony DADC shall become due for payment
within 30 days from invoice date, without any deduction.
(5.5.)
The place of performance of all payments shall be A-5081 Anif.
(6)
Consequences of Delayed or Refused Performance
(6.1.)
Even after having accepted an order, Sony DADC shall also have the right to refuse performance and/or delivery if, as a result of a circumstance become known or arising also after
the contract has been concluded, there is fear that the Customer will be unable to fulfil his
duties completely or in time or if the contents of the film, sound, data or other software recordings given to Sony DADC for duplication violate laws or moral principles. Similarly, Sony
DADC shall be entitled to refuse the acceptance of the order and/or the delivery unless it is
clear without doubt that the Customer disposes of all rights for duplication of the recordings
concerned. In this cases Sony DADC shall have the right to retain entrycomponents for
documentary purpose and to inform the following institutions about the issue: CDSA - Content Delivery & Storage Association, BIEM - Bureau International des Sociétés Gérant des
Droits d’Enregistrement et de Reproduction Mecanique, IFPI - International Federation of
the Phonographic Industry, BSA - Business Software Alliance, collecting societies.
(6.2.)
(6.3.)
Where the period allowed for payment has been exceeded, Customer shall be considered to
be in default, without that any special notice has to be given by Sony DADC. In such case
Sony DADC shall have the right to cancel all periods allowed for payment – including these
for accepted bills – and to demand payment immediately. In all cases of agreements on
payment in instalments, non-payment of any one instalment shall constitute default on the
part of Customer, to the extent permitted by law.
In the event of default of payment, the Customer shall have to pay interest on the sums due
and unpaid, in the rate of the refinancing cost prevailing, but not less than 12% per annum.
All extrajudicial dunning and collection expenses, including the cost of legal advisers and
debt collectors, shall have to be paid by Customer.
(7)
Delivery to Third Parties
Where a Customer specifies that an order given by him, or any part thereof, be shipped and
invoiced to a third party (i.e. to an affiliate company of Customer or one of his distribution
partners etc.), Customer shall continue to be liable towards Sony DADC. Sony DADC shall
have the right to charge extra cost incurred for packing and transportation. If the delivery is
to be carried out on behalf of a Customer by Sony DADC directly to a third party in a non
EU country, the Customer shall make available to Sony DADC either the commercial invoice
or the merchandise value which has to be paid by the third party for the assessment of the
import taxes.
If such delivery is carried out to a third party in an EU country, the Customer shall make
available to Sony DADC the VAT identification number of the third party prior to the delivery.
If such information is not provided by the Customer or is incomplete or incorrect, he shall
indemnify and hold harmless Sony DADC in this respect, particularly with a view to any
customs penalties and duties.
(8)
Defects Liability Guarantee
(8.1.)
In case of a complaint, the Customer shall have to provide for proper storage of the rejected
goods, and to hold them at Sony DADC’s disposal until the complaint has been settled.
(8.2.)
Sony DADC shall have the right to release itself from any claims for reasonable reduction
of price by correcting defective goods and/or by supplying missing goods in a manner acceptable to Customer. Defects of a part of a shipment (order) do not give right to reject the
complete shipment.
(9)
Retention of Ownership
The ownership of the Goods shall not pass to Customer and full legal and beneficial ownership of the Goods shall remain with Sony DADC unless and until Sony DADC has received payment in full for the Goods, including all secondary costs such as interest charges,
charges and expenses etcetera. In case of resale of such Goods, Sony DADC is entitled to
relinquish the realized purchase price in order to cover any outstanding claims. In case of
processing and mixing of such Goods retention of title and ownership extend proportionately
to the new product and shall be relinquished accordingly

Claims for Damages
Claims for damages raised by Customer for breach of contract by Sony DADC e.g. for nonfulfilment or for default, shall be excluded unless Customer furnishes proof that the damage
has been caused by gross negligence on the part of Sony DADC.
(11)
Rights of Mechanical Duplication, Copyrights, Author Rights, Other Rights
Customer declares to possess all rights for the purpose of duplication, including the right of
mechanical duplication, the right to use certain film-, sound-, data- or other software recordings etc. and he guarantees that all copyright fees and other payable fees be paid to the
owner of the rights or to the competent organizations representing the owners, and that no
claims in this respect will be raised against Sony DADC. Customer shall indemnify Sony
DADC in all respects, in particular for claims raised by third parties, including claims for
copyright organizations or other organizations, and for expenses arising from legal or court
action for asserted or factual violation of such rights. Such indemnifications shall include
production cost, if any, incurred by Sony DADC. The Customer agrees that Sony DADC will
disclose that information on individual orders to copyright utilization companies and other
organizations dealing with the protection of copyrights of any kind, which is required by these
companies for ensuring a proper licence settlement and/or for the control of safeguarding
any copyrights.
(12)
Miscellaneous
Sony DADC and the customer agree that should raw material prices (polystyrene, polypropylene, polycarbonate) increase above 10% of the published index levels as of March 2011,
a surcharge maybe introduced accordingly.
(12.1.) Customer shall furnish to Sony DADC his specific production material, including master,
label films, print films etc. corresponding to Sony DADC’s specifications. Where Customer
furnishes production material which is not in line with applicable Sony DADC specifications,
Sony DADC can complete, improve or return such production material at the expense of
Customer.
(12.2.) Print material delivered by the Customer can be used only if complying with Sony DADC
specifications. Except as otherwise agreed, Sony DADC shall not be obliged to store print
materials in excess of the disc-quantity ordered. Customer agrees that Sony DADC shall not
be liable for losses up to a maximum of 5% occurring during packaging, machine adjustment,
disruptions etc.
(12.3.) All material to be delivered to Sony DADC by Customer or on Customer’s behalf, shall be
”delivered Anif duty paid” in accordance with INCOTERMS.
(12.4.) Component handling: Please note that mastertapes (CD-R, Exabytes etc....) will be scrapped after 3 months (From the date the order is placed). For further information, please view
the Mastertape agreement provided by Customer Service. Artwork- and labelfilms without
a re-order in the past 2 years will either be scrapped or returned(At customer request and
expense). The cost paid for by Customer for master and stamper production merely include
the services rendered by Sony DADC in connection therewith, while masters and stampers
shall remain the property of Sony DADC. If so requested by Customer, they will be destroyed
upon completion of production. In case of a destruction, any repeat order shall be considered
a new order, with all costs connected therewith.
(12.5.) Customer guarantees that Sony DADC will only receive duplicates of masters, label films and
films for preparation of print materials. Should DADC be liable for loss or damage to such
materials, such liability shall be limited to the value of material, but not exceeding a maximum
value of e 1,000.
(12.6.) In case the goods supplied by Sony DADC are passed or sold to third parties, Customer shall
have to inform such third party in regard to proper use and handling of the goods.
(12.7.) Customer shall not have the right to use the company name of Sony DADC or a component
thereof, nor any reference to the company name of Sony DADC on its products, notices,
business or advertising materials, unless expressly agreed by Sony DADC in writing.
(12.8.) Austrian law shall exclusively apply to all quotations and purchase contracts, as well as to
these General Terms and Conditions. Sony DADC and Customer agree that all disputes
arising out of these Terms and Conditions be referred to the courts having jurisdiction in the
province capital of Salzburg, waiving any other venue of jurisdiction.
(12.9.) Additional agreements, information and complaints shall have to be made in writing, and
can be accepted only if sent to Sony DADC Austria AG, Sonystrasse 20, A-5081 Anif, for the
attention of ”Customer Service”. Notices given to Sony DADC shall not be legally effective
unless sent to such address.
