Step 1
After shaping the free edge of the
natural nail remove the cuticle using Vanish.
Remove left over Vanish with a Nail Wipe saturated with Cleanse.
Step 2
A gentle light buffing to remove
surface oils will improve adhesion.
Clean and dehydrate using Nailpure Plus on a Nail Wipe.
Step 3
Apply one extremely thin layer of
Polish Pro Base Coat to all five
fingers. Be sure to cap the edges.
Cure in the 36-watt UV Bonding
Lamp for ten seconds.

What lamp do I need?
Polish pro requires a 36-watt lamp or LED light to fully cure. If you are
using a smaller watt lamp you will need extend the curing time of the
polish.
Can I use the Polish Pro over enhancements?
Yes, the Polish is fine to use over both Gel and Acrylic enhancements.
Can I use Glaze ‘n Go over Polish Pro?
No, Glaze ‘n Go with cause the polish to crack. The Polish Pro top coat
will give the nails a high shine.
Why is the Polish Pro bubbling?
This is due to the polish being applyed too thickly. Your first layer of
colour should be thin and look translucent.
Can the polish be infilled?
As with a regular nail polish when your client returns to the salon after
2 weeks we would recommend removing the existing polish and
re-applying.
What are the benefits of this product?
Polish pro is ideal for natural nail care clients who want longer lasting
colour. The polish is easy to apply and can be easily removed.
How many colours will there be?
Polish Pro will be available in 24 colours including 3 designed for French
manicure. All colours will be available by January 2011. The colours can
also be layered over each other to create new colours.
Will there be a clear polish?
You don’t need an individual clear, simply applying 2 coats of the base
coat followed by the top coat will give you a clear lacquer look.
What price can I charge for this service?
We would recommend marketing this service as a Luxury Manicure.
Prices are dependant on your area and the prices you charge for a
standard manicure but a good starting point would be £20-£25 per
service.
How many sets will I get out of the 15ml bottles?
The Polish Pro offers great value for money at just £14.95. The Base
Coat & Top Coat will give approximately 40 sets and a 15ml Colour
approximately 20 sets.

Step 1
To help the removal process,
lightly buff the surface of the gel to
remove the shine. This will allow
the acetone to penetrate the polish
and speed up the removal process.
This is not a necessary step but can
speed up removal
Step 2
Pour a small amount of acetone
into an easysoak bowl (just enough
to cover the nail) cover the hands
with the easysoak lid and soak the
nails for 10 minutes.
Step 3
After approximately 10 minutes
remove the nails from the acetone.
The polish should have lifted away
from the nail. Use a cuticle stick to
gently remove any remaining polish
from the nail plate. If some of the polish is still attached to the nails return
to the acetone for a few more minutes.
Step 4
Once all the polish has been
removed your client is ready to
have a new polish manicure or
apply Nurture Oil to the cuticle
area.

Begin by sanitizing your clients hands and apply NSI Vanish cuticle
remover. Using a cuticle pusher remove excess cuticle from the plate.
Apply Radiant White onto the form
and buff up to pink to
create the smile line.
Create the tip.
Preparing the natural nail plate using a Endurance 180 grit file and remove
dust with a plush brush.
Using a lint-free nail wipe and Nail Pure Plus to remove surface grease,
dehydrate and sanitize the nail plate.
Apply Attract (Acid-Free) primer to the entire nail and apply a Platinum
Nail Form.
Using the New Attraction Purely Pink Masque and starting from the cuticle,
apply a bead of pink to zone 3 and another bead to zone 2.
Sweep in the smile line around the edge of zone 2. To create a ledge,
make sure you extend the nail plate further to lengthen the pink.
If needed, apply one clear bead to
seal over the join.
Apply Glaze n’ Go and cure for 90
seconds.

The professional way to remove nails
Offer a more professional service to your clients and speed-up your removal
times. The EasySoak nail bath offers a more comfortable solution to regular
soaking methods and the unique lid helps reduce the odour from the acetone
and other soaking solutions.
5. Working with a disposable
towel lift the clients hand out of the
acetone and gently scrape the nail
plate using an orange wood stick
then soak the nails for a further
5 minutes.
1. Fill the bath with approx 800mls
of hand touch hot water.
6. If there is still residue on the nail
repeat steps 4 & 5 until the nails
are completely clear then wash the
hands thoroughly. Gently file the
nail and apply cuticle oil and
hand cream.
2. Carefully fill the finger holes with
enough acetone to cover the nails.
3. Place fingertips in the nail wells
and cover the hands with the
EasySoak Nail Bath Lid. Soak
the fingers for 5 minutes.

Christmas Nails Dates for your Diary
These fantastic Christmas Nails were created by Lola Bevahousen using
the TechNail Color Acrylic system and with so much time and detail put
into them we just had to feature them, the Christmas scene also features
Santa’s reindeers complete with sleigh! Lola, who took her foundation
course in nails with NSI less than a year ago, is already showing that
she is one to watch.
We spoke to Lola about how she got into the industry and in particular
about her designs “My nails have always been something that I take pride
in and something that I love to look nice and adorn with colours that reflect
my personality. After quitting my old job I wanted my life to go in a new
direction, something that I knew I would always enjoy and would be passionate about as a career, nails seemed to be the obvious option”
“I’ve always had an interest in art, it didn’t matter what kind, painting,
sculptures or digital. Once I got into the world of nail art I way amazed by
the skills of technicians, I couldn’t wait to create some of my own work
and now I’ve started I know I’m never going to stop.”
Christmas Opening Times
The NSI Mailorder lines and Manchester Cash & Carry will close for
business on Thursday 23rd December at 5.30pm and re-open on
Tuesday 4th January 2011 resuming our normal opening hours of
9am-5.30pm. To guarantee your order for delivery before Christmas
we would recommend placing your order no later than 1pm on
Thursday 16th December.
Online orders placed over the Christmas period will be dispatched
when we re-open.
