My Schedule
My Schedule will display any current or future Trip Pairings that are assigned to the Pilot. A
Pilot will use My Schedule to view and print the current pairing, crew list, or select meal
preferences for a specific flight segment, and view other pilots‟ schedules.
My Schedule will not show absences, reserve days, reserve phone availability, or training
assignments. Access the Master Schedule to view complete assignments.

Pilot have the ability to view another Pilot‟s My Schedule & My Calendar
The current bid month choice will always be carried over to the next bid month unless you
change it. You can change your “Next Bid Month” option as many times as you want
prior to the first day of the next bid period. Once that bid period begins, the Next Bid
Month Choice becomes the Current Bid month choice and is locked until the next bid
month begins. See Other Section User guide to change preference.
All pilots who remained “opted in” will be able to view other pilots‟ calendars and
schedules of any other pilot who is also opted in. If you opted out, you will not be able to
view other pilots‟ My Schedule/My Schedule and other pilots will not be able to view
yours.

Pairing Explanation – Pairing Header
1.
Pairing Number – Pairing Number

First letter is the Base in which the pairing originates.

First number is the equipment series.

Following number is the position.

Final numbers are the sequence of pairings in the month.

Position/Quantity – The positions and quantity (if more than 1) available on
this pairing.

Duration – Beginning and End Date this pairing operates.

Pairing Explanation – Crew Member position
This section displays the crewmembers of the same class (pilot or flight attendant)
assigned to this pairing.
40. Pos # – Position.
41. Emp NO – Employee number.
42. Reserve – if the crewmember is on reserve, an R will be present.
43. Name – Crewmember Name.
44. Other Information – Hotel and Transportation and Operations information for
all days of the pairing.

Pairing Explanation – Crew List
Each flight segment has an arrow
located to the left of the number to show it
can be expanded for additional information. By selecting the flight number,
additional crewmember information will display.
1.
Pairing Number – pairing number assigned to each crewmember.
2.
Pairing Date – Date of first day of pairing.
3.
Position – position assigned to each crewmember.
4.
DH – deadhead noted only if crew member is deadheading on this segment.
5.
Reserve – Designates R- reserve or L – line holder.
6.
Aug – augmented crew.
7.
Emp ID – employee ID number.
8.
Name – name of crewmember assigned to the position.
9.
Sys Seniority – system seniority assigned to Flight Attendants only.

Pairing Information – Meal Selection.
A standing preference for crew meal selection can be found in My Preference
selections.
Meal selection for a specific leg can be completed by selecting My Pairings and
selecting the designated pairing.
If no meal is available for the flight segment, this window will not be present.
1. Available Meals – B- breakfast; L-lunch; D-dinner; S-snack.
2. Select Special Meal – use dropdown menu to choose from available meal
selections.
3. Save – select save to save your meal choices.
Standing Preference meal selections are made in My Preferences located in
Other. If you update and save your standing preference after a flight segment
specific selection has been made, the meal choice will revert to standing
preference.
Meal Selection should be completed 24 hours prior to the flight segment to ensure
catering has received notice of the selection. Special Meal choices will be
available at any city which offers special meals. Actual boarding of the special
meal will only occur based on availability of that meal.

Pairing Explanation – Print
To print, select any printer icon. A printer friendly version of the pairing information
will display.
If desired, expand the flight number to display crew list and meal information.
Select CTRL + P to print.
You have successfully reviewed and printed pairing information.

Master Schedule
Master Schedule will show all flight, reserve, and training assignments, as well as leaves of
absence such as sick, military leave, and vacation. Schedules are maintained in CMS for a
period of six months.
This schedule is the most accurate information available in determining assignment for each
day. Please reference your Master Schedule for a complete review of all assignments.

The Master Schedule selection screen displays.
There are two master schedule options.

Schedule Inquiry – Allows you to only view your Master Schedule; and

Schedule Update – Allows you to update certain information on your
Master Schedule. Schedule update is most commonly used by pilots to
update phone number contact information used by crew scheduling.
The procedures for displaying your Master Schedule are the same using either
Inquiry or Update.
Employee Number – Enter your 5-character employee ID.
Bid Period – Enter the bid month you wish to view, for example 03 for March bid
period. Leaving the bid period blank will default to the current bid period.
If you would like to view a Master Schedule from the previous year you must enter
that year under the year heading. Master Schedules are retained in the system for
six months.
After entering the information for your request, click the Enter button at the top of
the screen to display the Master Schedule.

The following is a description of a Master Schedule for a line holder.
The significant difference between a line holder and reserve schedule:

A Line Holder has assignments on days of duty. Days off are blank.

A Reserve Line has days of work blank (until assignment by scheduling),
days off are noted as OFF – regular day off or IOFF- immovable day off.

The schedule itself is divided into 2 columns.
CMS codes for columns Left to Right
DT – The day of the month. – There may be more than one event for a single
date. Blue coloring denotes weekend for easier viewing.
CDE – Used for assignment codes. Currently the only code that pilots are
authorized to use is CHK for crew check-in. Schedule update must be selected to
use this function.
SCHED – Shows pairing number or other assignment on date you are scheduled.
START – Shows start time for pairing or other assignment.
END – Shows end time for pairing or other assignment.
BLKT – Block time for a scheduled pairing. This time screen displays scheduled
block time prior to departure (black), scheduled and actual block time during the

trip, and actual block time after the completion of the trip (blue).
PAYT – Pay time for the scheduled pairing. This time screen displays scheduled
block time prior to departure, scheduled and actual block time during the trip, and
actual block time after the completion of the trip.
TBPOS – Displays 3 different pieces of information: Type of line, Base, and
POSition. The first position of the field is type of line and will contain an “L” for
lineholder or “R” for reserve. The second position of the field is base; See Code
Definitions section for one-digit base codes. The last 3 positions of the field
denote the equipment code (3, 5, etc.) and seat position (FO, CA, etc.). See Code
Definitions section for one-digit equipment codes and two-character position
codes.

The bottom of the schedule displays the following information.
MTDBK – Month-to-date block time. This is the total block time flown for the
month as of the current date.
PRJBK – Projected block time. This is the projected block time for the bid period.
WAIVE – The contractual line value limit of 90 hours on a Pilot‟s line. A “Y” in this
box indicates that this limit has been waived.
PBC – Not being populated at this time.
F+NF – Flying and non-flying values such as deadhead and rig of a Pilot‟s line.
CAP – Not being populated at this time.
ZONE – Not being populated at this time.

next to any desired date and select F8 for next. The date selected will be in the
first position (top left) of the new viewing screen.

Reserve Master Schedule
Step

Begin by navigating to CCS.

View Master Schedule.
Select the Scheduling Tab>Master Schedule.
All assignments, including long call, short call, field standby, flight assignments, and days
off will display on the Master schedule.
1. HDO – Holy Day off: A reserve day off that may not be disrupted for the
assignment of a trip 5-E-6-b.
2. CL11 – Short call assignment beginning at 1100 and ending at 1339. Trip
assigned E5A3PD 1340 report time.
3. LSR – Long Call reserve must be phone available 24 hours a day until assigned a
trip, short call, or field standby.
4. CL10 – Short call assignment beginning at 1000 and ending at 2400
5. LSR followed by short call assignment – LSR with an end time of 1915. Rest
begins at 1915 so that the pilot begins the next short call assignment at 0600 with

a minimum 10 hr rest period.
6. FDO – Flexible day off: a reserve day off that may be disrupted for an
assignment.

My Calendar
My Calendar is a view of your monthly schedule. You can click a pairing number to display
detailed information about that pairing. This calendar view does not have the same
functionality as “MyCalendar” in Skynet.
Pilot Check In
Each pilot may verify his intention to fly his next scheduled Trip no earlier than thirty-six (36)
hours and no later than fifteen (15) hours prior to the Trip‟s scheduled report time. Pilot Check
In is no longer contractually required. Reserve pilots can acknowledge the assignment of a trip
through Pilot Check In.
There are three ways to complete Pilot Check In.
CHECK IN USING THE PILOT CHECK IN MENU OPTION
This is the primary method for trip verification.

The Pilot Check In screen displays. If you do not have a Trip or the time falls
outside the window allowed for check in, the following screen will display.

If you have a Trip, and the time falls within the window for check in, the following
screen will display with the pairing that may be verified.

Click the CheckIn button and verification is complete.

CHECK IN USING THE MASTER SCHEDULE MENU OPTION
This is a secondary method to complete the pilot check in option using CMS commands.

Reserve Aggressive Pickup
Refer to the UPA section 20-K-8 for more information. Reserve Aggressive Pick-up is
designed to allow Reserves to pick up open flying beginning at 1100 the day prior to the
scheduled report time of the Trip. A reserve may pick up an assignment that has the same
number of days, or the same number minus 1, as the number of reserve days he has before
his next scheduled unavailable days. Only trips that are available for pick –up will be
displayed. Once a trip has been picked up, if you would like to make it unavailable for pick up
by a lineholder, you must notify the crew desk no later than 15 hours before the report time of
the trip.

View Reserve Aggressive Pickup.
Select the Scheduling Tab>Reserve Aggressive Pickup. Only trips that you are
contractually eligible to pick up are displayed. You may pick up a trip that is equal
to the same number of days available, or available minus 1 day.
1. Reserve Status Today – your current reserve status today.
2. Reserve Status Tomorrow – Your current reserve status tomorrow. „A‟
means you are long call reserve. „B‟ means short call reserve.
3. Days available – current number of days remaining in your current reserve

block. If you are a long call reserve today, your available days will not
include the current day after 1500.
4. Equipment – Your current equipment (cannot be changed).
5. Base – your assigned base (cannot be changed).
6. Position – your current position (cannot be changed).
7. Trips can be sorted by selecting choices from the drop down windows.
8. By placing a check mark in Desc, the order will be reversed.

Confirm the assignment on your Master Schedule.
Note: FAR legality and other contractual issues are only checked once you click
“Pickup”. A trip displayed on this page is not a guarantee that it is legal for
pickup.

Reserve Schedule Modification
Refer to the UPA section 5-E-8 for more information. After Monthly Scheduling Preferencing,
the company may solicit volunteers to convert RDO‟s (regular day off) or HDOs (holy day off)
to CDOs (converted day off – may be disrupted for a trip assignment). The day or period of
days must immediately follow a period of reserve availability but may not follow a period of six
days of reserve availability. Each converted day shall increase the reserves MPG by 1 hour.
A reserve pilot may also convert a reserve day off to a VDO (voluntary day off – may be
disrupted for a trip assignment, field standby, long call or short call assignment). If the
Compnay disrupts the VDO, the Reserve shall receive 50% add pay for all scheduled flight
time and deadhead time on and after the VDO through and including the day the trip ends, with
a minimum Add pay of 2:30 per disrupted VDO.

for conversion will be selectable. To convert to a CDO, select the box on the left. To
convert to a VDO, select the box on the right.

Reserve Assignment Pickup
Reserve Assignment Pick-up is designed to allow Reserves to pick up field standby or short
call assignments beginning at 1100 the day prior to the scheduled report time of the scheduled
report time of a Field Standby assignment, or the scheduled start time of a Short Call
assignment.

Hover your cursor over the Scheduling tab and select Reserve Assignment
Pickup.

The Pilot Reserve Assignment screen displays. This screen displays for reserve
pilots that are allowed to pick up a Field Standby or Short Call. The screen will
display the Assignment date, Base, Equipment and Position. This information
cannot be modified. Select the Type of Assignment, Short call or Field Standby.
Only assignments available the next day will be displayed.
In this current view, no assignments are available for the pilot Base, Equipment,
and Position.

If assignments are available, select the Type of Assignment, Short call or Field
Standby. Only assignments available the next day will be displayed.
1. Confirm the Type of assignment (Short Call or Field Standby)
2. Click Select to pick up the assignment
3. A message will appear to ask if you are sure you want to pick up this
assignment. Click OK. A red message will appear stating the assignment.
Confirm the assignment on your Master Schedule.

FAR 117 Summary Data
To find your cumulative clock totals for FAR 117, you can access a report that displays your
cumulative flight time and flight duty period limits. These files allow pilots to monitor
compliance with FAR 117 accumulation clocks for clock time and flight duty period time. These
files mirror CMS and are updated each morning.
