HBR-300
•
Technical Specifications:
28” diameter “cast iron wheels”
“Cast iron absorbs vibration and disperses heat, both very important in
quality of cut and tooling performance. Both wheels have brushes and
scrapers to keep them clean. The far right wheel has two dust ports to pull
the fine dust away from the saw efficiently and not allow it to pile up on the
floor as seen with other saws”
“Cast iron is far superior over our competitor’s steel wheels.”
HBR-300
•
Technical Specifications:
12” x 12” capacity
Height adjustment of blade to table: 2-270mm
(0.787”-10.62”)
Minimum thickness capacity: 2mm (0.787” inch)
“Its ideal to cut the product from the top for the best accuracy.
Depending on the quality of the product surface, we have been able
to achieve very thin slices (down to 1.5mm) with no issues”
HBR-300
•
Technical Specifications:
TCT saw blade width: 50mm (2” inch) for better yield, longevity, and
performance.
Wider blades = stronger blades which allow for a thinner kerf, thus
promoting a higher yield.
The standard carbide tipped blade can be resharpened.
Kentwood 50mm (2”) blade specifications:
Carbide Saw Kerf: 1.5mm (0.059”)
Competitors 25mm (1” inch) blade specifications:
Saw Kerf: 1.82mm (0.072”)
Heavy duty blade guide plate system including guide roller
Main motor horsepower: 30hp
“Kentwood uses wider blades that can be resharpened, last longer,
support 20% thinner kerf vs. competitors 1” disposable blades. All
of which are money savings opportunities to the customer”

Technical Specifications:
Electronic height adjustment for head rig with LED readout at operator’s
console
“The height of the blade to the table can be input by the touch pad in either
metric or imperial measurement. You can then select ‘go’ and it will
automatically move there by motor. It has automatic backlash
compensation built in for best accuracy.”
“The head rig is support by two CAST IRON columns for the best stability”

•
Technical Specifications:
Maximum Feed Speed: 30M/min (100ft/min)
Electronically variable with dial and electronic readout on
operator’s console.
“The servo drive motor gives precise feed speed control by
inverter drive. This is more efficient and environmentally safer
than a hydraulic feed system which is messy and can be higher
maintenance”
HBR-300
•
Technical Specifications:
Feed conveyor tilt: 0-30 degrees
A simple hand wheel is located on the bottom of the table and is used to
tilt the wheel.
Return roller conveyor is included to allow the operator the ability to
pass the work piece back to the front easily.

Technical Specifications:
Air/Oil blade mist system
Keeps the blade clean and lubricated

Class Exclusive Features:
Hydraulic tensioning device for band saw
Air actuated hydraulic motor system puts quick and
consistent pressure on the band.
The hydraulic system is activated by a toggle switch
making it the easiest tensioning system on the
market.
Hydraulic is far better than pneumatic only system
that fluctuates tension as the plant’s air volume
fluctuates.
“Bandsaw blades lose tension after so many set hours; when the
saw is not in use, tension must be taken off the bandsaw. With
most competitor’s machines, this process is long and
cumbersome so operators tend to ignore this requirement.
Kentwood makes it very easy and quick for the operator which
means they are more likely to take care of the machine better
which equals reduced tooling cost and better performance.”

•
Class Exclusive Features:
Automatic adjusting height hold-down rollers.
Two hold-down rollers before and after the saw
blade
Very special activation plate that detects the timber
height and then allows the roller to adjust
automatically to the timber height.
Multiple passes can be made without ever making a
height adjustment on the top hold-down rollers.
The rollers hold the timber to the table by heavy duty
air cylinders for the best “adjustable” control.
