March already? I can't
believe how time is
flying by!
Now, if our club
activities don't fill your
month, here are a few
other suggestions:
March 5 - Multiple Personality Day
(Somebody please be me)
8 - Be Nasty Day (Let's not)
14 - National Pi
Day (3.14….
Get it?)
15 - Everything You
Think is Wrong
Day (This should last
a month!)
20 - Extraterrestrial Abductions
Day (Beam me up!)
Bill and Karen Stewart have a great
suggestion for this month’s Happy Hour:
Mardi Gras may be “oPHicially” over, but
it’s never too late to let the good times roll!
Wear your purple, green and gold
apparel, beads, hats, and any other Mardi
Gras stuPH to Happy Hour this month. As
Mr. B. B. King (and surely Jimmy B. also)
would say I don't care if you're young or old - Get
up and get together and let the good
times roll!
Laissez les bon temps roulez! See y’all
there!

Our official 1st Wednesday of the month Happy Hour this month is March 4th at the Stuart Grill & Ale Restaurant & Tiki Bar in the
Plantation Plaza on US1 in Stuart, Florida.
Last month we had 58 members and 5 guests in attendance.
33 members brought donations and $1 was collected for badge violations.
Remember to sign the ships log and say hello to Linda, the Keeper of the Phlock.
All members that donate something
should put a check mark next to their name on the sign in sheet. Name badges are required. Members will be fined $1 for not
wearing their name badge. This fine will be collected on the night of the happy hour. If you happened to have lost your name
badge, no problem, just talk to Linda!
New members get lei’d and participate in our traditional, ceremonial parade.
There will be lots of PHun and prizes, including our 50/50 Raffle. If not buying $20 in raffle
tickets, remember to bring plenty of small bills: $1, $5, and $10s. Making change can be difficult
when all we have are $20s.
A special Parrot Head menu is available.
The PHun begins at 5:30pm.
Please wear your
club lanyard at all
social events
It has been our pleasure to serve as Happy Hour co-chairs, but it's
that time of year to form new committees with new faces and ideas.
Committee sign-up sheets will again be available at our March 1st
Wednesday Happy Hour. Sign up and have phun!

PHestivities… continued
Hello Treasure Coast Parrot Heads
The Palm Beach Parrotheads have challenged us to meet them in the bowling alley as they try to win back the
coveted Tiki God. TCPHC won the last Tiki God Challenge back in 2011 and leads the series 3 - 2. We
currently have the Tiki God and the Palm Beach Club wants him back. I think NOT!!
Join us at 1 pm on Saturday, March 28 at Jupiter Lanes - 350 Maplewood Dr., Jupiter, FL 33458 as
we “bowl over” the Palm Beach Parrot Heads and keep the Tiki God on the Treasure Coast.
The cost for the bowling competition is $20.00 per person (Pre-Registration) and includes 3 Games of
bowling, Shoes and Ball. (It will be $25.00 at the door.) There are 2 players per team, but you do not have to
belong to a team to participate. You can register as an individual and they will put you on a team the day of
the event.
If you are not a bowler, come on out in your PHinest Parrot Head attire
and cheer for our TCPHC teams! Better yet, join the Coco-Hole
competition (Corn Hole). The winner of the Tiki God Challenge will be
determined by the bowling competition, but you can win Coco-Hole
bragging rights and prizes! The cost for this event is $10.00 per person.
Please complete a Registration Form available at March Happy Hour
and mail it with your check by March 21. The Palm Beach PH Club and
Jupiter Lanes need to know how many players to expect.
In true Parrothead spirit, it will also be a “Party With a Purpose” to
benefit Alzheimer’s Community Care which serves St. Lucie, Martin &
Palm Beach Counties. There will be a 50/50 drawing as well as raffle items - so bring a few “spare” dollars.
Food and Drink Specials:
- A bucket of domestic beer for $17.50/single domestic for $3.75
- Import buckets for $20/single imports $4.50-$4.75
- Bar specials (TBA) will be offered
- PLUS Jupiter Lanes will also offer a new drink - "The Parrot Head” - (It will
be a surprise!)
- "Cheeseburger in Paradise” special - Giant Half-Pounder served with
hickory smoked bacon, melted Wisconsin cheddar, Spanish onion, vine ripe
fresh tomatoes, lettuce, pickle and fries - $7.50
You can also order from their full bar menu.
Hope you all will join us for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition!
I’m the TCPHC contact/liaison for this event so please feel free to contact me
if you have any questions or need more info.
