This old wine grower’s farmhouse is nestled on a rocky
outcrop on the Saint-Joseph hillsides with views
over the Rhône valley. Access to the house is through
the vineyards, some of which are still worked by draft
horses. An exceptional place where you will find
nothing but peace and tranquility.

Les Granits - red.
This wine, in both red and white, takes
its name from the vineyards surrounding
the gîte. The single vineyard selection
comes from AOC Saint-Joseph and
displays a remarkable balance between
structure and minerality.

L’Ermite - red.
Vines with over 80 years age make
this wine one of the very finest from
Chapoutier. Complex and well-balanced
with subtle minerality derived from
its granitic soils.
L’Ermite - white.
The vines are situated at the top
of the Hermitage hillside, near the l'Ermite
chapel. This very smooth wine shows
a mineral character typical of its soil.
