BCA: The “A” is for “Access.”
The “Access” in Backcountry Access means a lot more than just getting after it in the mountains.
From our beginnings in 1994, our gear has been designed to make backcountry riding and snow
safety more accessible to the mass market. By more accessible, we mean widely available,
affordable, and easy to use. The Tracker DTS was the first avalanche transceiver designed for
use by the recreational masses. Twelve years later, we designed our Float airbags to be more
affordable, lighter, and easier to service than our European competitors’ airbags. And now our
BC Link is making professional-level communications standard among the recreational crowd.
We’ve taken special care to make sure that our customer service and product development staff
are fully accessible to our end users. We’ve listened and we know what they want: Value, not
unnecessary features, boutique pricing, or slick salesmanship.
Great products and great value–accessible to the mass market: that’s how we’ve become the most
trusted name in snow safety.

™ AVALANCHE AIRBAGs
According to the latest research, your chances of survival are twice as good if you’re wearing an airbag than if you’re not. With that kind
of statistic, why doesn’t everyone use one? Because until recently, they’ve been too heavy and too expensive. Enter BCA’s Float system.
BCA Float systems live up to their name: they’re light, affordable, and easy to use. We’ve gone out of our way to make them the lightest
and most affordable airbags in their volume categories. We also have the world’s most extensive network of cylinder refill and exchange
centers. Like all of our products, we back them up with industry leading consumer education and exceptional customer service.
In 2015-16, we’re expanding our product line to include the Float 8 airbag pack, as well as a redesigned Float 22 and 32–both with
more adjustability, carrying features, and progressive styling.

BCA’s Stealth Quick-Lock probes feature the fastest assembly on the market, with no loose cable
to cause hangups. The top segment stealthfully nests inside the next probe section, reducing the
number of segments and size of the probe bundle when disassembled in your pack. Depth markings
are on all models for measuring snowpack and/or victim depth to determine the dimensions of the
excavation area before shoveling.

AVALANCHE shove ls / DIG HARD. PACK SMALL.
Our bombproof line of shovels have an oval shaft and welded, “ferrule-less” blade, making them stronger

An oval shaft, welded construction, and T6 heat treatment give our shovels unbeatable strength
and mean our Bomber shovels live up to their name.
