Silent Auction Prizes
We are so lucky to have these wonderful prizes donated by volunteers and friends of
OSMH. You are warmly encouraged to enter our silent auction and bid generously,
ensuring we can raise as much as possible for OSMH.
1. One week in a rural Cornish cottage
A week’s stay in a gorgeous converted barn two
miles from St Just, Cornwall. This self-catering
cottage sleeps six and is fully furnished, with WiFi
and bedlinen included. The cottage is near the
Penwith Heritage Coast, just a few minutes’ drive
from the beautiful beach at Sennen Cove, and there’s
wonderful walking right on the doorstep. One week
in May or June 2016 (excluding half term), to be
agreed with the owner.

2. Day out for three at Walton Heath Golf Club, Surrey
Walton Heath is one of the most famous and prestigious golf clubs in the world (with a
green fee of £180 per person). Come and enjoy a morning on its two golf courses
followed by a delicious lunch in the clubhouse with your host, Oundle Mencap’s one and
only Eddie Dove. There’s more golf in the afternoon too if you want it!

3. Two nights’ B&B on Milton Road, Oundle
Enjoy a two-person stay at Michael and Sonia Hudson’s beautiful home in the heart of
Oundle, with tea and homemade cake on arrival. A comfortable bed and bathroom are all
yours for a Friday or Saturday night, or both if you would like. Breakfast will include the
Hudsons’ own jam, honey and eggs, with home-made granola. Collection from and return
to Peterborough train station also offered if helpful.

4. Sumptuous beef
A mouth-watering 5.5kg of Aberdeen Angus boneless sirloin, sourced in the UK, from
high-end Yorkshire-based beef producer Dovecote Park (a supplier to Waitrose). Cut
into two joints or steaks, or a mixture of both, as you prefer. Delivered by Parcelforce to
any UK address.

5. Two tickets to Kodaline live
Two tickets to hear Irish rock band Kodaline, whose debut album spent nine weeks at No
1 in 2014, at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 17 December 2015. Come and rock out
with this heartthrob foursome on the final night of their European winter tour.

A rugby ball signed by World Cup-winning captains David Kirk (New Zealand 1987),
Nick Farr-Jones (Australia 1991), Francois Pienaar (South Africa 1995), John Eales

8. Homemade Oxfordshire preserves
A basket of delicious jams and preserves from Oxfordshire, including apricot jam, plum
jam, green tomato chutney, quince cheese and marmalade. All are homemade and most of
the fruit ingredients are home-grown, too.
