CA IT Asset Manager
Feature and Content Comparison: CA Software Asset Manager
and CA Software Compliance Manager
CA Technologies is executing against a bold vision for the future, where IT resources are
delivered with unprecedented levels of flexibility. We bring unique strengths to the table
that will help our customers make informed decisions about how to build and manage their
next generation IT ecosystem. The current release of our CA IT Asset Manager (CA ITAM)
solution includes significant improvements to our software asset management capabilities
over previous releases. These new and improved capabilities are part of our Software Asset
Manager solution which replaced CA Software Compliance Manager in the CA ITAM 12.7
and later releases.
CA Software Asset Manager Feature Comparison
The following table is a comparative view of the features with the CA Software Asset Manager (CA SAM) component of CA ITAM
and similar capabilities in previous releases that included CA Software Compliance Manager (CA SwCM). Also, capabilities are
noted for the CA Asset Portfolio Management (CA APM) component of CA ITAM where relevant.
