God our Redeemer, we confess that we are people of ashes and dust. WE join the

With our commitment to education and community, we are pleased to offer some
financial support for the continuing education of deserving candidates from our church,
the church family, and the community.
Applications will be available in church office April 1-30 for the following scholarships:
James L. Davis Scholarship: (for academically strong students)
Lila Foster Teacher Scholarship (for students in the teaching field only)

William Shephard Fund (available only to African American Students)

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Presbyterian Women will meet on April 2, 2015, in the
Summit Square Dining Room at 10:30 a.m. The Bible study, Reconciling
Paul, A Contemponny Study of 11 Corinthians, will be led by Betty Dax,
followed by lunch. The cost is $7.00. All women of the church are invited
and reservations are not necessary. Feel free to invite a friend. You may
contact Lorain Kent at (540)941-3248 for any further information. Parking
arid entrance to Summit Square is in back until June.

On Good Friday a cross, draped in black tosymbolize the crucifixion, will be placed infront lawn
(11 Street). On Easter Sunday folks are encouraged to bring a garden flower or two to adorn that
same cross. Christ Has Risen1.
